Me too. I have a lot of 1:18 vehicles and I can't imagine the space they'd take up at 1:12. I love the classified detail and articulation but it's just too big. But I do have a couple dozen of them. They're too cool to resist sometimes. And I did back this Haslab but might not see it through. Thanks for watching and continuing with 1:18!

Same here. Considering we got a 1/18 Haslab Skystriker, a Haslab 1/18 Rattler would be a good companion.

Hasbro really missed a golden opportunity. With extensive research, they found out that the vast majority of Classified collectors are tired of vehicles and figurs, and demand patches rather than more vehicles and figures; yet, they only offer three patches, and we have to hit tier one to get them. What they should have done was replace the Rattler with a giant Rattler patch, and make all the tiers patches.

Pre-ordered this beauty (2 of them, actually). I missed getting the original as a kid, didn't want to make that mistake twice. I have the Baroness one with the Cobra COIL. All that written, I hope the damn thing isn't too colossal, otherwise it'll stay in the box. I didn't bother with the Haslabs HISS tank 'cause of that. I live in an apartment dammit, where am I supposed to display this thing? It reached tier 2 a day or 2 ago. With 20 days left, it's looking bright for it to go all the way to tier 3 (& the Baroness unlock). I'm meh on the tier 1 patches, I would've preferred more battle damage panels. To what you said about the landing gear, that was the main weakness in the original toy. In the original toy the landing gears were notoriously easy to break. God help you & the toy if you were heavy handed. This left kids with a choice, either always have them up (inside the plane) or down. Hopefully the Haslabs version corrected that weakness. At the price these things are coming at, that'll piss off a LOT of collectors/customers.

On the original the back gear opened to the side. This meant the gear wouldn’t collapse when rolling it back or forward. The piece was too thin and that’s why they broke. The haslab landing gear just looks kind of silly how it works, nothing like a real plane. They also failed on the skystriker gear so I worry about their lack of testing and engineering. But it’ll look nice on the stand or hanging from the ceiling.

This looks like true scale 1/18th minus seats but only for a more realistic a-10 if you look at the old cartoons it’s obviously meant to be not that big of a vehicle while the real life counterpart is significantly larger

Started off really hot, but it hit 12,000 and it seemed like it's died. Hit 12,000 a couple of days ago, I checked it earlier today it was at 12,227. Only a couple hundred over the last couple of days. The way it started I was expecting all Tiers to already be met. But, there's 38 or 39 days left, pretty sure it will still go all the way.

Two thing one the old landing gears on the original design sucked theory always broke and two if the gunner seat turned it wouldn't light up so would you rather have the light or it to be able to turn the gunner seat. I hope these New landing gears will be stronger

@@CrimsonCobraCommander No, the landing gear was too thin, but it looked good on the original. That was fixed in the rerelease. This Haslab gear looks really odd. It’s, splayed out and looks bad. It doesn’t even look like it snaps into position. And the same team did a poor job on the skystriker. And there’s no reason you can’t have something spin and also have an electrical connection. I’ve done many RC tank turrets. And just tonight I bought a light up fan for my kid on the boardwalk. The blades are illuminated. Easy and cheap. I think it was space or mostly just cheaper and easier to have the static seat. But no denying it’d be better if it all spun together.

Has anyone produced parts for the Haslab HISS that allows it to be used by 3 3/4" figures? The Tank would actually be the right size if the cockpit and turret were adapted to fit 2 smaller joes instead of 1 big one. I think the sam can be said for the rattler. Obviously 3 3/4 toys were undersized for the figures to make them affordable but the classified sized vehicles seem to be real world scale to classic figures, on the outside at least. Is anyone 3d printing or somehow producing inserts for the classified scale vehicles to adapt them to the original figures? If so who? If not why not? I also wish someone would produce a 3 3.4 scale USS FLAGG bridge. The flagg is basically a big table so for most people being able to buy an affordable replica of the bridge section, having it comie with stickers and then going to home depot to buy a piece of grey melamine shelving cut to the right dimensions would allow them to own a Flagg at a fraction of the cost. Why is no one doing this?

I’ve see people 3d printing Flaggs. Thats an option. But the cost and time makes it about the same as buying vintage, unless you do it yourself. And I bet people are hesitant to cut up their $300 hiss tanks. But maybe we’ll see more mods as time goes on.

@@ActionRobotPunch Would the haslab hiss need to be cut? I am imagining an insert that fits inside the original cockpit that seats 3 3/4 figures. Maybe that would only leave room for one but still wouldn't it be cool to have a huge (cartoon sized) hiss and now rattler for vintage figures? Do you really think 3d Printing only the bridge section of the flagg would be that expensive? I guess one could just buy a used bridge on ebay and have the same result. I just looked it up and a complete flagg is over $3000. If someone could manufacture the bridge/superstructure and maybe a few cannons and reach a $500 price point I think they could sell quite a few.

We’ll see if it’s actually the size they say it’s going to be so far both has labs the finished in hand product has been smaller then what they said they originally were going to be (especially the hiss) by 3 or 4 inch’s and I think that’s pretty shady on there part to change the dimensions after these things are all bought and paid for and to not even acknowledge these changes makes it seem like they are doing it on purpose and hoping no one notices

I'm in the minority here, but I'm super disappointed in the Rattler. There are a ton of errors and oversights. I've been dreaming about how cool this vehicle could be in Classified scale, and now that it's here all I can see are all the ways it falls short.

@@Elite-0Zero Good catch. I did see this mentioned on Facebook. I’m sure they can rotate the final paint app. These are hand painted protos that we’re seeing. But will Hasbro make the fix or notice?

I hope they do but only if those comments can be found among those complaining about patches. I really enjoyed your video by the way 😊. My worries are (ignoring the patches): 1. removing WW's helmet to show a handsome face takes away a lot of his mystery. A second head with a damaged visor revealing a scar would have excited fans so much more. I don't need removable helmets for every figure going forwards considering I have the pinhead Barbecue and Crimson Guards next to the newer releases. 2. Only one changeable panel is cheap in my view. 3. No doubt Hasbro lost money or at least came close on each HISS because of the electronics and treads so why repeat it? In my view, the lights add nothing to playability. 4. The gun turret not rotating is a problem that should be fixed with modern engineering. They could have made the landing gear break easily too if they wanted to be faithful to the original. 5. The Gunner is a dull figure. I want a little more from a redshirt, like a Rattler decal on the chest, a Cobra parachute or something for added value. Lastly and this is the one that I may get most flak for... that Baroness is like 1000% hotter than Cover Girl! The sculpt is great but does it fit in this line comfortably?

I really don't care for Classified nor Haslab but I guess this will be good for people that like It, but personally I think the Multi-million doller company Hasbro should stop with the Crowd funding It's Just a bit ridiculous at this point and also they should bring back there retro O-ring line they kinda Just forgot about and stop Ignoring the fans of the classic scale like myself.

I'm also sad they've abandoned O-ring. I don't really collect Classified but do find the Haslab projects to be pretty exciting. And I imagine it's good for the brand. It'll be interesting to see what Super 7 does with Gi Joe O-ring. I backed the Cobra Mothership but was gutted when it didn't fund. That felt like the last gasp of the O-ring large scale projects.
