Just got mine tonight (Zandar too). I will listen to this review while opening him up 😁👍🏻 *update/edit I really like this fig. My only minor issue is that the plug-in on the gun for his ammo feed is reeeeally small/shallow and barely holds the end of the ammo in place. Otherwise he's fk'n RAD imo. 🤘🏻

Let me know how you feel about that support handle lol. The grip and trigger is OK it's that handle to me that's a doozy.

@CocoasmoothTheCasualColl-yo8bc OPE I got him early, he showed up tnite!! 🎉🎉🎉 So I don't have an issue with the handle, personally. Got a cool firing pose right away almost. BUT the plug area on the gun his ammo feed goes into? it's tiny and shallow and BARELY holds the ammo feed. Other than that, I love him, no other complaints. *oops I edited my top comment before I saw your reply, not trying to repeat myself haha 👍🏻

I at least gotta stop by and leave a like! I'm not a fan of this guy, but he is on the way for me. I'm a sucker for GI Joe. So, the classified like is my jam. Unfortunately it's about time I started being cautious with my selections and pre-orders. Cherry picking time! Great review of course!

Thanks for the in depth look. For some reason Pulse split my order up, and shipped each figure by themselves, each via DHL. So, I'll get mine in a couple weeks versus 2 days from Fedex. Yes, the back pack was originally used on TF Roadblock and the peg was for his tripod.

Not to be picky, but didn't SAW originally mean "Squad Automatic Weapon"? It was the squad or platoon member with the heavy machine gun. At a time when the standard infantry weapon was the M1 Garand. I mean it's Cobra a place where sanity did not run deep. So "Chainsaw Man Troopers" might have seemed like a great idea.

Great review. I passed on him bc I have no connection to the SAW Viper. I remember reading the issue where the SAW wastes Doc. Like that whole Trucial Abysmia run messed me up as a kid.

The backpack came with Roadblock from the Tiger Force 2 pack with Tunnel Rat. The peg was for the tripod that came with the set.

The big selling point for me is the neck guard. I also have a brand new STAND! waiting for him because I feel like with roadblock 28 the gun along with backpack will eventually weight him down leading to constant tip overs.

The whole SAW thing should've been retconned. The funny thing is that the LMG upper receiver on the figure is clearly meant to look like an M249 SAW.

As I look at this figure, I'm willing to bet that this will be rereleased as the Iron Grenedier V8, from 2015. The one that was released with Steel Brigade. He will have a new helmet and new weapon and the back pack are the same. It's an obvious reuse.

Landscape Viper!!! Hard pass for me. I never had the o-ring so I don't feel disappointed in how much under the "cool factor" this figure turned out. Good review regardless!

Great review. I'm a fan and dig the figure overall it's not bad. However, Hasbro should have included the original style gun that was with V1. The saw attachment is just dumb, he's not trimming shrubs. Has anyone at Hasbro who sculpts ever browsed their own inventory or went to 3DJoes before they make a figure?? He should be named Landscape Viper😂

The file card is factually incorrect compared to real military acronyms. It's always been squad automatic weapon. If you want to go with semi-auto please do but to many people you'll just sound stupid (just like the file card).

Worst COBRA classified fig to date, hands down! > He's the guy that mows down Doc & Crankcase (in Vol.1 109 & 110)! Hasbro insulted this infamous character. He needed black mobile leg armour. Cause he's A battlefield Machine gun specialist. Not this un-articilated purple bomb squad clown. And why Hasbro didn't give him A SAW rifle? Or the incorrect massive style- scope blaster rifle that the org fig came w/ is beyond me.. Lenny & them foolishly cheery picked "their version." Anyhow, Thanks for the review. If you would have said it stands for squad automatic weapon, people would be on here correcting you saying the card file stated semi automatic weapon. 😂 i personally think Hasbro screwed up. The M249 SAW came out in 1984 and the figure was released in 1990. If it was the other way around. Then Hasbro would be right
