I read some of this series when I was in grade school. The school library carried a couple of them. I remember Operation Time Machine being a great book. I remember borrowing that one every 2 weeks and rereading it again and again. All the endings were intriguing. In one, you and your team end up dead in Pompeii and are discovered by archeologists who report to the Cobra Commander Emperor of Earth. Another ends in the present with dinosaurs ruling the Earth and humans are second class citizens. A third ending allows your team to stop Cobra from changing World War 2 and save the present. I own some of the Transformers one that I found recently book shopping. Thanks Kevin, John, and HCC788 for putting this together and taking me back down memory lane.

I still have my childhood Transformers Find Your Fate book "Dinobots Strike Back". Being the nerd I am, eventually I made a graph tracking every possible path and had fun comparing the shortest story versus the longest story. Pretty sure two of the branches eventually merged back together.

Love to hear it. I have some of the Transformers Find Your Fate Jr. I just picked up a sampling of the Transformers Young Corgi books. There was a third, newer series I haven't found and read yet.

I remember these from my elementary school library. I want these badly.

They're still out there. Prices on eBay have jumped up recently but they turn up at toy conventions and antique malls for less. Happy hunting!

They are cool... My school library had lots of Choose your Own Adventures, but not GI Joe.

Still a mark of a cultured school library that they had Interactive Fiction/Gamebooks.

Good stuff. Side point: there’s a lunchbox with Low Light on it? Now, I need that.
@Pegwarmers Жыл бұрын
I discovered that there are two versions of that lunch box one with "Live the Adventure" text and one without.

Ayyy, John's back. That beard's looking fearsome. Hmm, I guess it was fearsome before. Maybe it's cos of the tied back hair. Cool episode! Like most of the topics, they're a bit before my time, love learning about it tho!

Books are great. I'm sure I learned that from a GI Joe in a PSA. Sounds like something they'd say.
