I'm not trying to argue; I just want to weigh in as one who thinks that the Hasbro Retrocard Duke has the Perfect face sculpt! That's Exactly what I think Duke should look like, based on the Sunbow cartoon. And yes, his face does seem to be not very mature. But that's him! For everybody's edification: The Hasbro sculpt looks better in hand than it does in any picture or video.

Man, I have to give you props. As hard as it is to do content, re-doing it is a major pain. So good on you for seeing it through. Even when the backpack broke (or did it), you kept marching through. 🤜🤛 Don't stop till you land the kick flip! 🤘

Does the folded shovel go under the elastic bands on the outside of the backpack like on the original toys?

😂the serrated edge is a saw for wood. I liked the helmet right until you said that it looks like the star wars one.....and I can't unsee that now.

Hey punk! I only have one Mezco GI Joe figure Roadblock. It was my first and I decided it will be my last. His weapons are just too lightweight and fragile, like his backpack, machine gun and tripod are. Roadblock’s pants ride up to high which makes him look like he has a thick waste. Don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of good points to Mezco figures and I’m glad you like their Duke but for me the Hasbro $25.00 figure is good enough. I also think the new Duke is one of the best bucks Hasbro has come up with. I enjoyed your review!

Thank you for the time and dedication you put into these reviews. I really appreciate how you take the time to show each accessory. I'm not a cloth goods fan when it comes to figures at that scale, so I know that sways my opinion a lot, but having admitted that bias, I think that Duke is the worst looking Mezco GI Joe so far. The stitching looks gigantic, and the bandolier just looks so bad, which is sad considering that is probably the most unique thing about Duke's look. Honestly, I think the best Mezco GI Joe figure was Destro. I know a lot of people really like soft goods though, and I do think Mezco figures are good quality, they just don't do anything for me. But, that's what I like about these types of reviews, I get to check something out that I normally wouldn't buy for myself.

I just bought SS, FF, SE1 and Commando SE ( from ToyArena Monday following SDCC ). I prefer Classified , clothes are dolls to me

What I don't understand is the lack of weapon slings with these Mezco figures. I don't need to explain the myriad of reasons why slings are important to the look. Out of all the companies making modern action figures with softgoods and paint Mezco should be doing this. I do make my own slings (because I already do for Hasbro and Valaverse) BUT for the prices and how EASY it should be for Mezco there is really no excuse.

Two things at the beginning of the video I didn’t care for this figure but by the end I’m really digging it. Definitely looks more realistic than the amazing retro card version. Hopefully the backpack isn’t broken we definitely need an update about that😂😂😂 Great review man. Top notch

Good review. I ordered this from BBTS, so who knows when I'll get mine. I don't have a problem with this fig. I like having different versions of Joe characters, retail and high-end. I'm looking forward to getting this figure. 👍

If I ever bought a Mezco Duke I’d only use the weapons it comes with my Hasbro Classified Duke action figures. The Mezco would definitely sit somewhere collecting dust.

Maybe, but other than Destro have any of the GI Joe Mezco figures been marked down like that? Not sure many Mezco’s get marked down as is, but good luck.

@@Apunkwithtoys I got a spare roadblock for 70 on amazon. Brand new. And then my dumb ass got Battison brand new for 130 and see him for 80 now. And still not selling. So yeah. This has happened to me countless times.

Duke looks better in the video than in the promo shots for sure. Still one that's a pass for me. Mezcos are so frustrating to review! Don't worry the effort still came through, you showed us everything we need to see 👊🏻
