@The Aegean60: I have grown up with Dalaras's songs. Dalaras has been my favorite singer for most of my life. No one can take away anything from his greatness. When it comes to Kazantzidis however, I have come to believe that he was larger than life. It was not only the awsome strength of his voice than cannot be rivaled but the depth of his passion. Along with his integrity of character he expressed the Greek spirit like no one else can.

Great job by Dalaras to sing a Kazantsidis style song but I wonder how many of Dalaras songs Kazantsidis could sing that well? Dalaras is the best all around Greek singer!

Its not fair to compare anyone with Stelio. He was--IS-- in a class by himself. No one can touch him. That being said, Dalaras is arguably the best singer of the last 40 years. Surely in the top 3

@panos2160 : a, ok , now is clear ...if the art of singing and music is only an aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah , then i agree, Kazantzidis is a very good aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah singer...

@panos2160 : in my opinion Dalaras is naither better nor wors than Kazantzidis, simply is different..different voice,tone, choises, carrier. Kazantzidis is not a totem of Apachi, he was also a singer..why nobody can touch him? as you can see, the songs can be touched by any singer with good voice..obviously each composer knows better than you and me...what voice you like more, is another story my friend..
