Tempo is interesting yet simultaneously horrible? The composition is not a slow day dream. Grief does not float like cloud on a sunny day. Puccini wrote this in one night after the death of the Duke of Savoy. The interpretation here while interesting, is not Puccini's Crisantemi

You are absolutely right. The conductor did not get the pice. It is horroly slow and the orchestra even not together.
