Just starting the pod but saw the short and BOY do I agree and relate so hard with Jordan about men not knowing how to talk to a woman in a toolbelt. I want to start a handywoman business because I helped my bf's godmom with her oven and she bout cried bc she had it for months and couldnt use it because they didnt set up the fancy computer settings and she was gonna have to hire some dudes to come in and press some buttons and pay them hundreds of dollars to rip her off, and I know old ladies would love to hire a woman instead. I work as a lab tech in a sculpture studio at a college and people totally underestimate and oversexualize my work and capabilities constantly. Just cos tiddies and tools.

ADHD should be seen as an actual developmental disorder we have no control over and it'd be so cool if people could accommodate our disability without making us feel like complete monsters like they accommodate anyone else in a wheelchair etc.
