Let's be realistic though. I think that Riley play should have been an off. foul. I do agree that flipping should be punished if there was no contact. But can you really call it flopping if a defender falls back after contact to offset the momentum of a charging attacker? The alternative may be taking a knee to the chest and getting seriously injured.

Even if he simply touches the defender or tries to position himself on the post , he doesn't get the benefit of the doubt and more often than not takes the offensive foul . Players are starting to realize that and they dive a lot when he tries to go around them and not through them . It's so sad to see a generational talent , being treated like that . Since when a dude should be penalized because he's bigger , faster , stronger than anybody else on the floor ? Giannis is what we ( Lakers fans ) hoping AD to be .

Watch 1:49 to 2:06 ... that actually happened in one sequence in the game 3, I watched it live. A block, a defensive rebound, a pass, an offensive rebound and he ended it with 2 pt. Wow !! It looks like he was playing against the Celtics alone in that sequence

He's always like a grown man, playing with some school kids! He makes all the other players, look like amatures... Celtics have one of the best defences I've seen in the NBA and he still makes things look like that.. He is by far more dominant and way better player than Shaquile O'Neill, as Shaq has also admited years ago.. Kevin Durant in 2017 , said that "if Giannis wants it, he can be the BEST ever!" That means he called him the GOAT, when Giannis was still 22 years old.... He is phenomenal player, that we will probably never see again! Most dominant and best allround player ever!

They get away with a lot as a "gritty defensive team" and are always pushing the envelope in terms of what they can get away with, but then their fans are always the ones who cry the loudest when someone else like Lebron or Giannis comes along and gets a favorable whistle.
