If the MVP voters actually considered defense as an important skill instead of just looking at the big inflated offensive stats, they would realize how far above the pack this guy is.

Well, last 2 years honestly Giannis doesn't play defense like he played in the past. O don't know why all of you goes crazy because of Giannis's defense, basically when Embiid is healthy, he is without a doubt better defender than Giannis last 2 seasons. Giannis is still elite on that side of the court, but Giannis last 2 years declined a little bit defensively and Jokic and Doncic increased their level of defense a little bit so right now the gab between Giannis and Jokic is smaller defensively.

I think I have figured out the problem with dame, and why he doesn't work well with Giannis. I keep watching how he runs the pick and roll with Giannis vs Brook and every time he is looking to score off of it. The minute Giannis roll he is not looking for the pass he is looking to see if he can get a shot off. This is why I always said if Giannis can't play with Steph the next best thing would be someone like CP3. Someone who will actually get him the ball so he can be dominate. Steph although is not a pass first guard naturally give the ball up in pick and roll and try to get open, dame just stands still if he doesn't have the ball.
