He scores in the paint, he scores in transition, he air balls free throws but at the same time he shoots 90% from the free throw line when it matters, he puts out 50 points/14 boards/5 blocks/2 assists in the most important game of the Finals, he fascilitates, he screens, he passes the ball , he creates space and wide open shots for his team mates, he rim protects, he defends both space but also individual players when its needed, he hustles even more than MJ, he steals/blocks/dominates, he is a highlight machine in every game, his energy is unlimited .........and he is only 26 years old!!! DAMNNNN!!!! And the haters say he cant shoot .........come on man if Giannis evolves to a remotely decent jump shooter then we shall have a new goat !!!!! Oh and James Harden says Giannis has no skills .......... yeah maby next season the Nets should try staying healthy and consistent and pray that the Bucks front office wont pull out a move like the Holiday one! Please CJ McCollum come to Milwaukee !!!!!

He plays bigger than 7'. His extension while twisting and/or reaching give him another 5+ inches of usable reach and he has a lot of flexibility in his core. The other thing I see is his height lets him elevate just a fraction of a second later than the offensive players, to time his blocks/time his defense right after the offensive player jumps, so he doesn't foul on the body. Amazingly dominant.

Ohh man, what a run for the Bucks. It’s been an exhilarating experience watching this team right from the first game. Jayson Tatum getting that fluke bank shot in against an outstretched Giannis. From that moment, I knew it won’t be a straightforward season. In a week or so, we beat the hell out of Miami from 3s (29- all time NBA record) with Giannis scoring like 9 points. I knew this team had something going on. The new signings of Holiday, PJ Tucker, Bobby and Forbes had given this team an extra bite that had never been seen in this team before. The hunger emerging from the bellies of starved underdogs. Despite being recognised as one of the best defenders in the NBA by top professionals such as KD, Lebron etc., Jrue Holiday is a 1 time all NBA defence. UNDERDOG. Bobby Portis was being chucked around the east and he came into Milwaukee. UNDERDOG. After years of hustling it out in Europe, PJ Tucker comes into Bucks from Houston. The sneaker legend brought in that tenacity and was that talker in the dressing room who would try to bring the guys together. He also helped Giannis grow as a leader. And guess what what is biggest trait? UNDERDOG. Even Brynn Forbes was undrafted. Driven by the underdog mentality of the new players in the roster and the unwavering quest of Giannis and Middleton to win the chip with Bucks, this Bucks hit different. After watching 73 games, I had a mixed feeling. I knew that this team had answers to the expected ‘Giannis wall’ but I was not sure who would show up during the playoffs. And we had the worst first round draw possible against Miami who had trounced us in eastern semis last year. I was borderline scared when Jimmy Butler was talking about being stupidly locked in. I bought that shi😭😭😂 Anyhoo, soon, JB exposed himself for the kook he is during this short playoff run. The game was close as expected and Middleton decided to show up in the clutch to close the game for the Bucks. It was a big moment mentally for the Bucks since they seemed to finally have an answer to the Giannis wall. In came games 2 and 3, Brynn Forbes decided to set up a clinic and buried 3s like he was practising in his own backyard. Soon, the sweep was completed and I knew that the Brooklyn Nets were coming up. 3 headed monster. KD, Kyrie and Harden. Personally, 3 of my favourite NBA players besides Giannis. When the series began, Harden got injured within the first minute of game 1 and I knew this was our year. I have seen enough sports in my life (more than a decade of football and 1 year of basketball with the Bucks😁) to know that such moments of luck indicate the destiny you make for yourself. In the case of Phoenix as well, Lakers were hurt, Denver were also depleted and they eventually faced a Kwahi less Clippers. They carved their destiny through this, to the WCF and the Finals. I could sense it. However, we got murdered in the first 2 games and Kyrie was crossing over Akumpo like it’s high school. I thought we are done for lol. However, this team raised my trust in them after winning the game 3 at home, with the Bucks big 3 showing up. After making it to game 7, I knew it that if Giannis had it in himself to create a legacy for himself forever, he will win the game 7 at Brooklyn. That’s what legends do. And guess the Greek Freak did? Dropped a 40 piece in game 7 away from home. If that’s not legendary, what the hell is? Moving on to the ECF, what I will always remember is that hyper extended knee. At the first look, I was shocked. I thought his career may be over. Being an Arsenal fan for over a decade, I’ve seen injuries in front of my eyes like Ramsey and Wilshere - and I knew that if Giannis tore his ligaments, he may never be the same player again. However, the Greek Freak has a different narrative written for himself. Man recovered in a space of 10 days and returned for NBA finals. Unbelievable. Freak of nature. PS: screw you Trae Young. Freakin hate that guy. Oversmart piece of shit, I hope he shimmied on his way back to Atlanta. First of all, it was just surreal to see Bucks in the Finals. Just seeing my favourite franchise getting international attention was so wholesome. Supporting a small market team is so much more satisfying because of these little things. Anyway, Phoenix dumped us during the first 2 games. But I knew it that this team won’t give up. If they could beat Brooklyn at home, they could definitely take over against Suns at home. Soon, the series was 2-2. For me, the Giannis block on Ayton will close to 1 min to go in game 4 turned the series around. I knew it that the Bucks were also very close to being the better team at both the ends now. It was about the big 3 rising to the occasion at the same time. And so it did. That play when Holiday snatched the ball out of Booker’s hands and then sent it up for an alley oop for giannis may every well be the most memorable sports memory that I ever have in my life. Giannis with the stare down to his haters. Picture perfect. Game 6 was something that I had never expected in my wildest dreams. First of all, I WOULD LIKE TO BEGIN WITH FREE THROWS. Being an over thinker, I thought Giannis would bottle free throws in game 6 under pressure. He did exactly the opposite!!! 17-19 in a close out game. Turning up when it matters the most. And then man drops a 50 piece. With 5 blocks and 14 rebounds!!!! Is he even human? Best 2 way player out there. Facts. It was awe inspiring to be a part of this journey with the city of Milwaukee. The fans in the deer district were one of the best fans I’ve ever seen in sports and this year has been majestic for me. Being an Arsenal fan, winning a trophy is surreal and seeing my favourite player lift the championship trophy, that means the world to me. Giannis Antetokoumnpo is the king of NBA my friends. It’s time everybody starts paying him the respect he deserves. HOF 1st ballot CV at the age of 26. Bonafide legend. Let’s go bucks and build a legacy franchise like the bulls did in 90’s, around Jordan! This 2020s decade is gonna be about Giannis and the Bucks. Mark my words. Bucks in 6!!

Are y'all not wondering why giannis did not tear any ligaments? That means he doesn't use peds or roids.

Watching this I'm starting to think that guys around the league don't dislike Giannis cause he's not American or he's not from the AAU circuit it's just cause he abuses them on the regular.

Actually this has been a 5 year process for giannis so the title is inaccurate I think giannis 1st playoff run was in 16/17 if I'm not mistaken against the Toronto raptures So he definitely took that Michael Jordan route And as a bucks fan I was here to see it all 2021 nba champion Milwaukee bucks Even though I still think the refs in the NBA are the most corrupt referees in sports they still got the job done

I'm from NYC and I'm happy that the Brooklyn Nets Failed. I don't like these artifical superteams, and Giannis is 1000x more likable then KD, Harden and sullen loner Kyrie Irving. Would of also been happy had Chris Paul won too...

Underrated comment. I legit thought Zubac could play close to Jokic level, not as versatile but definitely better in post offence. He deserves more than being the 7-8 option to score.
