Interesting caveat to keep in mind is the fact that the bucks have had the best record vs. the top teams in the east (9-7 I think). So I'm not crazy to think the bucks will go on a heater in these last 26 games since strength of schedule showing that they have the third most difficult schedule. And also when Middleton is in the lineup with the other starters, their numbers are elite in offensive rating and defensive rating. And lastly, it's not secret that dame needs the ball more and he also needs to be more selfish in shooting the ball bc he's definitely a rhythm player after being the whole offense in Portland for 9 years. It's no secret that when dame scores 26 or more points in a game, the bucks are 21-3 in those games so imagine if Middleton is healthy again and dame unlocks his dame type persona like he did in the all star game, the bucks are in a great position.

I totally 100 percent agree with you on all of it!! Dame needs to be more selfish and take more shots or create more for himself, along with Gianni's!! Gianni's shouldn't have to score 64 in a game when you have Dame and Kris on the floor

I actually would have been looking for a trade for Kris, but I do like Kris he's just hardly on the court and it hurts the team .. I think that we should def think about letting him go or trading him for a Paul George or someone like that ...

@@danielharris1227 I guess I should have done more research and realized the bucks only have a few games vs eastern conference elite. However, the bucks should know it's do or die. So everyone needs to do their part. I mean everyone. No more lazy ball watching. No more running back on defense assuming the first shot will always go in since they can't rely on their defense anyway, so they might as well crash the glass on offense and create more second chance opportunities. I agree Middleton has become a health liability and he's getting paid supermax money I think on top of it. I don't dispute that when Middleton is on the court, the bucks are a much better team, but for the money and the games he plays, it's just not worth it. And if we want to explore the fact that the Middleton ankle injury was a freak accident when Durant's clod foot was underneath him as he landed, then I think the NBA needs to explore harsher penalties/fines/suspension for these flagrant fouls especially if one of our starters who's paid maximum money goes down for an extended period of time .

It's going to be tough for him just because of the usage. He has to share offensive touches with brown and porzingis and white. He's not particularly flashy either. But the guy is amazing, the Celtics have been pretty much at least in the conference championship in each of his first five seasons or whatever.

I think for Giannis to win the bucks would have to basically win out, maybe lose 1-2 more games all year and if Giannis averages about 35-40 PPG over the rest of the year he might have a shot.

Just be quiet. Giannis averaged 31, 11, and , 5 assists last yr. The Bucks had the #1 overall record. The Bucks didn't have Khris for 50 games but somehow they still ranked Jokic over Giannis. This is embarrassing. Comments like this are the reasons why Giannis doesn't get the love and respect that he deserves.

I actually think this is true, but it’s not cause he doesn’t deserve it, it’s cause media already decided they aren’t giving it to him. He’s had a better season than Shai or Jokic and through significantly more adversity too. Even through the team underperforming, giannis has continued to lead by example and lead by being vocal to try and help this team. And he’s been very successful at doing so.

Jokic averaged 24, 11, and 9.8 and the nuggets had the 4th best record but somehow Jokic still was ranked over Giannis. I could understand Embiid being over Giannis cause Embiid had never won anything last year, but to have jokic over Giannis is flat out wrong. Even this yr the Bucks were the number 2 seed for a long time and the Nuggets were in 4th is the West bht somehow Jokic is still getting ranked over Giannis. How? And this is not a Jokic-Giannis thing at all. The truth is, the NBA hatred for Giannis is exposed and there's no other way around. Even a lot of Bucks fans apparently hate Giannis too. I remember last year even Frank Madden said Giannis wasn't the MVP and that he doesn't vote for Giannis MVP. Frank said this. Do ppl hate Giannis. Absolutely. Do some ppl genuinely like Giannis? Absolutely. Theres mayve 3 players. 2 NBA analysts and some fans who genuinely fair to Giannis. Not everyone is bad. I forget, but about 3 months ago i remember an NBA saying ppl just disrespect Thanasis for no reason. Heck, some NBA even gave Thanasis some love just like they voted for Steven Adam for All-Star. No one hates Giannis. You need to get a grip. Frank is only one person and he loves Giannis. He’s a Bucks fan, think about what you’re saying. Jokic is great, Embiid is great, Tatum is great, Shai is great. Giannis isn’t gonna be the MVP every season and everytime he doesn’t win is not some conspiracy or media smear. He got more all star votes than anybody, he’s one of Nikes biggest athletes, he’s in every commercial, he’s in movies, he’s insanely rich. He’s recognized as one of the greatest players of all time. Everyone loves and respects Giannis but you don’t have the ability to understand anything outside of what you think you see. Besides all of that I don’t think you even comprehend that the MVP award is not given to the best player and it’s not only based on stats. I have Giannis ahead of Jokic this year but if someone has shai or Tatum or if they had Embiid before he got hurt then that’s not unreasonable at all.
