THERE IS A SECOND TORX SCREW ALONG THE BACK EDGE UNDER THE PLASTIC TAB LABELED “AIRBAG”. I guess it might only apply to the facelift models, but yea I nearly broke my door card. The plastic piece just pops off, put your pry tool under the side of it and it’ll come right off. The screw is a T25 with a point, unlike the other screw under the handle.

At the 1:46 mark you can see the inside of the panel, near your right hand is a black plastic cover that shields the rear of the speakers.(visible from outside the car when assembled) What is that parts name and is there a way to order a replacement?

I was gonna buy snap pliers to remove my door panels but I got the exact tool you used and I think it worked great. Nice video!

also if your door card has tweeter speakers, the connectors just pull apart. it looks like they have a clip but they don’t, it confused the hell out of me lol hope this helps

When removing the top Remove The Weather Trim First. Otherwise there’s a high chance of breaking the door card. They’re made of cardboard essentially so pretty fragile.

Hi Nick, I always seem to have issues putting the door cards back in place. Do you put the long rubber gasket on after or before putting the door cards back on? Can't seem to find a good how to for putting them back on although lots for taking them off.

Sorry I don’t remember. Only thing I remember is that it broke on reinstallation because I got fed up and slammed it on ahah It’ll make it easier if the window is down

Terrible video. Completely wrong. Glad I have experience with door panel removal, if I had listened to this and not used my own common sense and experience I would have broken the door panel.
