With the help of someone outside. If you look at the footage of him getting in, you can see the martini glass, some yellow liquid in a bottle and a fraction of the chair on the bottom left. It was most likely staged. Example: 5:58

Maybe, but the hole I've used chairs like that, and I'm pretty sure it wouldn't fit without them having to reinflate the balloon. That could cause the thing to pop from inflating and deflating to much to quickly.
