The vinyl ones are better look like they are installed into the frame . More ways to put them and shape them . They are installed before your forks right above the tire . So no mudd goes into your forks and Down your shocks. The rear one just for looks. It stops mudd from covering your cranks and legs. Rest of the rear ones are ugly as all hell brake so easy to. Little mud on your back never hurts mtb rider.
