Nope. It's a "processed cheese product" and legally has to be marketed as such. You'll never see it flat-out called "cheese." For example, an advertisement is allowed to say "made with real cheese," because at some point cheese was involved in the process. Or they can describe the flavor as "cheesy" because... yeah, I guess it sort of is. Those laws also extend to the packaging, so you'll always find it clearly marked if you just read the label, "processed cheese product." "Pressurized aerosol processed cheese product." It's terrible, but it's also kind of amazing. There's a stigma about it that is disproportionate to how it actually *tastes*. Ashens has a video where he actually decides it tastes pretty good, and he's a skeptical Englishman!
