31:57 I actually tried to do this, once. It's a very interesting problem to try to solve. The Pokedex definitely does not provide an actual taxonomy. But there is various evidence presented that allows you to consider some compelling rationale of where different Pokemon could end up depending on how you interpret the in game information.

Giant Bomb prides itself now on reviewing games as art on their own on not on a "How good is graphics etc" level, so it pains me to still hear them complaining about Zelda not being voice acted. Its part of the game's aesthetic. Voice acting DOES NOT EQUAL better. Its not necessary. It would make the game slower. Its the kinda game that has dialogue would silly when spoken.

ThatLandonSmith We are in complete disagreement that voice acting equals production value. I dont think anyone but you is looking at this new zelda and saying 'shit production value there'. With your comparison of 2D to 3D you are naively acting like no dialogue is a retro rather than aesthetic choice. Whereas my original point you'll notice was entirely related to gameplay and story, which unnecessary dialogue would hinder. Its not like characters dont verbalise in any way, or like the entire cutscene at the beginning wasnt fully voice acted.

Pokemon, like most traditional RPGs, is hard to show off. Pokemon's appeal almost comes a lot from the slow buildup of your team from tiny cute things to big badass things, but you can't just show that in 45 minutes or even a few hours without spoiling things. They also stretched it out because Nintendo doesn't have much to show since it seems they're saving up for NX. I do think it's a little harsh to say they shouldn't talk about Pokemon at all, especially with this being it's 20th anniversary.

They already made the God of Pokemon 2 generations ago, and that same generation's team was team Galactic. Based on some story stuff in X/Y and Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, I'm actually thinking they're starting to care more about the actual stories, so I hope that starts to be where they put more focus.
