"He changed my life and I know that's going to change my sons life" is such a beautiful quote from Vinny and really you can feel it's the biggest praise he could ever give to Ryan.

Almost 10 years now and Ryan's passing is still the most I've been affected by any celebrity passing. He was, is, and will always be missed.

I only got into Giant Bomb like last year, so I never really listened during the Ryan Davis years, but it's still so apparent how big an impact he had. Wish he was still around.

I didn't know the news when I first played this episode years ago. At first I thought Ryan had left Giant Bomb, but when I heard Vinny say that he passed away it shocked me. Ryan had just gotten married. I had just listened to an episode with him on it. My brithday was in two days. It didn't make sense. I was at work when I was listening and just broke down. I listened to the whole episode, driving the deliver van, crying. It's been 6 years and I still can't believe he's gone. He's been gone longer than he was at Giant Bomb, but it still feels like he's there. I think he'd be proud of the current Giant Bomb crews. I miss him.

I remember I was on my lunch break when I heard the news. I didn't know him personally, but it felt like I lost an old friend that day.

2022 and this still hits hard. Nearly 10 years later. I've never met Ryan, never talked to Ryan and yet his death still deeply saddens me. Goes to show what a cool dude Ryan was

Such an emotional podcast. Poor Vinny at the end, you can hear it in his voice.

I only got into giantbomb the same night as the switch launch, but I've been a premium member since maybe a month later and I get the Ryan love. He totally had that je ne sais quoi of just so lovable but also so criticical when he had to be. He was an amazing human and may he rest in peace

I’ll never forget the day I read the news. I honestly thought it was joke until I knew it wasn’t. The GB crew were at their highest to me and I was at my professional lowest. Just still an incredible loss. Love Ryan, love Giant Bomb, love Jeff, love everyone.

I didn't have a good internet connection at the time of his death due to me having to move into a different dorm. when this was announced i had just found some free internet and sat down to get some game news and to see what the guys were up to and i saw the article. i closed me computer and stayed in my room until i had to go back to work on monday, ryan was my favorite and when i was given a day of freedom on thanksgiving in the middle of basic i didn't call my family, i watched ryand davis because i knew he would make me laugh. rest in peace you crazy bastard.
