Love the video! My son was recently injured at a sporting event and suffered a spinal cord injury. He's been in the hospital for two weeks and was recently transferred to an intensive inpatient rehabilitation facility. He can no longer walk or do almost anything on his own. His mother and I haven't left his side and are eagerly waiting to see if he will regain his pre injury function. Recently, I showed him some of your videos, and he instantly smiled and said he wanted to go diving. Thank you for taking us on your adventures and bringing a smile to my son's face. We try not to set goals for him that are unrealistic, but taking him diving one day is a goal we're willing to set and hopefully achieve one day. Until then, we'll eagerly await your next video and go there in our minds. Thanks again. You made a young boy's day today.

Hey Kelly another easy watch vid for us at home anyway, staying warm in New England these days. "Lobsters" down there are similar to those in S China Sea. To my Massachusetts eye they look more like overgrown crayfish. We had a cookout with the same type of lobster you have there when I was in Vietnam. They were tastey with butter for sure. I think we got them from Vietnamese fishermen, the officers got them for the guys. Ok great video and hope to catch tomorrow's also. Stay safe and well everyone.

Aloha. I used to night dive in Hawaii for lobster. We were not allowed to use any tools/ gadgets. Hands only. I’m not complaining. But I’m curious, in the Bahamas, you can pole spear them. How can you tell if it’s a female/pregnant female before you shoot it?

You can’t really tell, but sometimes you’ll see the orange eggs under them when you line up to spear them

TIP...always ice down any shellfish that is boiled immediately upon removing from the boiling water...they peel better and it firms up the meat and it tastes waaay better...from Texas

Serious question/concern about Kelly's channel... why have the number of subscribers increased over the last year (by quite a bit), but the average views per video have gone way down? I started noticing this a few months ago, and decided to run some very rough numbers. The average views a year ago (minus two videos that were in the millions) was 157k. For the last 12 months, it's 95k. That's a huge drop! But the number of subscribers has gone up significantly. All I did was calculate based on the view count we can see on the video page, so it's really rough. When I compare this with another KZbinr (whose name shall not be mentioned, but you know who), his number of subscribers have jumped as well. But for him, his views went from an average of 276k a year ago to 333k for the last 12 months. And that's after removing 8 or 9 videos from the list that were in the millions. I care about this because we've been watching Kelly's channel for a long time, and we'd hate to see her stop doing them. Is there some algorithm that's not giving her channel the same exposure that other channels are getting? Just seems very odd to me how the number of subscribers can increase significantly, but the average views actually drop (by a lot)?! Or maybe I'm just making an issue out of nothing...

I had to slow down posting because of an injury the last two months. KZbin runs on algorithms. and I recently posted a short form video which pushed a lot of subscribers. However, I think my channel decided to start pushing my short form videos instead of my long ones. So now I’m trying to ramp back up the longer videos. KZbin is a puzzle, that creators are trying to figure out.
