I suggest ,as it is steampunk, make small islands attached to the base, above it, ueing the bridges to attach them. Make them seem like lifters, like anti grav things, but steampunk

Canteen and the lounge clearly made to be stuck together. Since the walkway is connected now, have the canteen on with the window curve on the outer corner, then the lounge on the other side.

The dish must be placed on 2 blocks and goes directly in the middle of them. Even if there isn’t a block in the middle, it finds the middle of 2 blocks unevenly not in a full block space

Scrapman, if you want a clock or anything as grand as it give it a place, it should be at the very top but wait observatory. Choose one and stop trying to add everything, chill. Also flip the canteen on its long side so it looks better.
