GIANT DIPPER ROLLER COASTER Santa Cruz California

This was my 9yr old Lunas first time riding The Giant Dipper Roller Coaster at The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. This is one of the oldest roller coasters in the US and was built in 1924. It's a bit of a local rite of passage as a milestone if you will, when you become big enough to ride The Dipper a The Boardwalk. This wooden roller coaster was featured in The Lost Boys which was also filmed here.
Other than that its just a fun day at the Boardwalk w the Reezyfam! Eating Snacks, Riding rides... trying to hold the snacks down... its hard work! But thats what we're here for :)

This ride broke my neck lol, I brought my mom onto that rollercoaster and she hadn’t ridden any for years, so that little drop felt like the end of the world to her

Mustard is the best ingredient on Corn Dogs Mustard Ketchup and sometimes I ll put Relish on regular Hot Dogs Sometimes I like to eat Hot Links and I ll put Mustard on those too but I may need a cold drink like maybe a Pepsi or Dr Pepper to cool it down because there s spice in it that s hot I can eat some food thats kind of hot but not way too hot or I can t eat Chili s and other food that my mouth can t handle

Last recent time I went to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk( SCBB) was about a year ago for the weekend of Saturday & Sunday , August 5th & 6th. I couldn't make it the day of the 100 year anniversary of the Giant Dipper. Somebody in my family passed away

Hey there Veronica As you re in the very last car when you go over the lift it starts going faster as you get to the top That s the most fun part to be and also in the front so you ll be able to see the track I ve been on the Giant Dipper lots of times I have 4 movies that the Giant Dipper was featured on 1. The Lost Boys 2. Sudden Impact 3. Bumblebee 4. Us

That s where the best part is in the rear last car but when its my turn to go on the Giant Dipper I may ask the attendants if I can skip the run until I get the last car seating or I may ride in the front Or if I want to ride where available seating is I ll just go on it. I like it most when both trains are run. Both the blue one and the orange one

Seeing videos like this when I m not there makes me wish I was back over there especially in line for the Giant Dipper at least if I m not on it at the time I know when I get off and when I want to do repeats until I need to give it a rest I may get Dipper d out then go on other rides or sometimes chill and drink a beer They allow beer drinkers drink beer there as long as nobody doesn t start trouble on the boardwalk They have security there

Before.the.Undertow..there.used.to.be.a.JetStar.ride...then.there.was.the.Hurricane...both.rides.were.taken.apart..and.sold.to.another.person.or.people.who.took.em.elsewhere

@@ReezyFamVlogs no...the.JetStar.ride.with.single.rollercoaster.cars.was.on.top.on.the.2nd.deck..was.there.before.the.Hurricane...the.Wild.Mouse.ride.used.to.be.over.on.the.far.side..just.past.the.Giant.Dipper.rollercoaster..then.they.had.to.take.that.ride.down.too.so.they.could.build.Logger.s.Revenge..waterflume.log.ride...Santa.Cruz.Beach.Boardwalk.also.used.to.have...little.cars.people.could.drive.around.on.the.lower.section..by.the.Cave.Train.ride...a.lot.of.ride.changes.were.made.throughout.the.years...I.wish.they.could.acquire.the.EVOLUTION.ride

@@jojovaldez2766 Yup I'm 67 and remember the Jet Star rollercoaster right across from the Looff merry go round. And your right, the Wild Mouse was right past the Giant Dipper where the flume log ride is now. Also on the main street right up from the merry go round building, in the 70's there use to be a good Mexican restaurant. But when I went back for a visit in 2015, the Mexican restaurant was no longer there
