Back in the 70's kids would hike up there from the campground at night, and play in the tunnel, running around, and sitting around looking out the windows. Cracks me up whenever I see videos exclaiming secret alien or whatever stuff has been found. Go see that moon at night.

Hi, i just recently found (7or8/24) you. Loving and trying to catch up. I gather that many are aware or suspect portals locations in this southwestern part of the USA as I. I have very little recall in this regard, but I know that there is at least one portal in this very large area. Amazing Carl , it's funny that here in West Virginia we have a Mount Zion and I have been to other places where there is Mount Zion ! Wonder what the thing is about it? Kinda Crazy there so many Mount Zions in the U.S.

Actually the "vent holes" were Actually for removing the blast ruble instead of hauling it all the way back out the tunnel if you look under the windows you can see piles of blast ruble

I was fortunate enough when I went through, they handed me a baton to give to the other side letting them know I was the last one going that way... so of course I stopped at the vent way and took pictures and a video out over the canyon view👍😁

maybe the road up there and the tunnels were built to hide a couple of incline shafts that were so blatent as to defy explanation? the walls inside the tunnel opposite the openings look to have contrast that is the same shape as the openings with a lower roof, as if there was 35 / 40 degree openings that have been concreted over and made to look natural. just saying
