Part of my Saturday mornings for a long time when I was a kid. I would watch these fishing shows, get excited to go fishing, and head to the local park to fish in the creek. If I wasn't already fishing with my dad, that is. Hank Parker, In Fisherman, Bill Dance, Babe Winkelman, Jimmy Houston, Roland Martin, there were quite a few of them on TV back in the 80s, and I'm sure I'm missing a few more.

Hey Hank Parker's Outdoor Magazine, can you upload more throwback episodes of the series Hank Parker's Outdoor Magazine from Season 2 in 1986?👍

We're about to fish a giant Florida bass in this episode of Hank Parker's Outdoor Magazine from Season 2 in the year 1986, at that time, the show was at its 1st year on TNN (The Nashville Network). The programming block "Sports Sunday" made its debut, adding "Hank Parker's Outdoor Magazine" to the TNN programming lineup. During Season 1 in 1985, Hank Parker's Outdoor Magazine was syndicated commercially to local stations in national syndication. "Hank Parker's Outdoor Magazine" will premiere its 3rd season on TNN in 1987. The music hits in 1986 were Lee Greenwood's "Hearts Aren't Made to Break (They're Made to Love)", but Dwight Yoakam sang "Honky Tonk Man" and "Guitars Cadillacs", The Jets had a hit with "Crush on You", George Strait sang "Nobody in His Right Mind Would've Left Her", and The Fabulous Thunderbirds had a hit with "Tuff Enuff". The top movies of 1986 were Hannah and Her Sisters, Wise Guys, Tough Guys, The Money Pit, and Ruthless People. On this episode, host Hank Parker is joined by pro golfer Curtis Strange; where he enjoys the kind of fishing every fisherman dreams of, and we'll take a fascinating look at one of the most respected creatures in the animal kingdom, and also, Parker is joined by Bill Allen in the French broad river in the great smoky mountains doing musky fishing; In the "Tip of the Week" segment, Parker talks with Roy Ridgell of Mercury Outboards to talk about some preventive maintenance on winterizing an outboard boat.👍
