While it is a beautiful restoration, my mind is filled with the memories of our family. In the eighties, our families stayed in the cabins in Giant forest for many years. It was just a wonderful time. Remember the gift shop, amphitheater, restaurant and check in desk. Awww, the memories...

Some of my best memories were from the early 80s staying in those cabins and walking over to the village general store and all that went on with the village.

I was there around 96 when it was development everywhere and went back again around 2012 when it was restored and can say they did and excellent job. It's now a peaceful and natural place, with a huge open grassy space surrounded by sequoia trees. It's now a nice place for a walk to unwind and enjoy nature.
