And thats still stock switch to a 95k clutch spring and even more tq and acceleration out of the hole literall purpose is small tracks like this gets the car in the power ban way quicker and we are talking about a $10 part lol. Makes me really wonder about those 2 thousand dollar RCMAXX motors that make triple the power and are twice the size lmao.

I bash super heavy with the hobbywing 1100 kv max 6 combo. Plenty of speed and ridiculous of torque 28-30t pinion and I want to say 50 something spur. Both hardened mod 1 gears And as always thank you for your time and effort to bring us these videos! I've been eyeballing that losi 5t for some time. And this video definitely helped a lot in making my decision easier. Thank you

Hi Kev, richen up the low speed needle a bit it will lower your idle a little and it will be a bit more responsive at the lower rpm's

Hey Kev awesome rent man just a little helpful tip written up your low-speed needle just a little bit that will bring your idle down and give it a little more fuel and Power on the bottom end

You should make more videos with the traxxas mini maxx and upgrade it to a wide maxx and review it i have a maxx but not sure if i want the wide maxx kit i have a feeling it would weeken the truck but you are a super hard basher so if it survives on your maxx it would definitely work on mine i already broke my driveshaft and bulkhead from driving up a tree and doing back flips.

With the widemaxx you get more stability. I dont bash mine too hard since I have a 4x4 slash for that, but driving at around at full speed and whatnot on gravel and few small jumps is alot of fun. I still have stock driveshafts and havent broke anything on it.

Have a general question about nitro RC cars, I have a old team Associated mini MGT 3.0 completely stock. At first I loved it but it didn't last long.... My question is is there tuning the carb so you don't have to keep doing it every time you want to run it???

You should do some more videos of this bad boy! Do one where you do some upgrades like a tuned pipe. And maybe a noise comparison between stock exhaust and tuned pipe. That would be awesome. Also a RCmax engine upgrade. Like the 55cc one. I think that is the sweet spot without getting crazy with all the upgrades needed to handle more power.

Hey Kevin I have a question as a person trying to get into rc cars. I am wanting an rc car to race around a concert track as well as dirt track and doing some bashing every so often. I don't know if I should get a traxxas rustler or slash. My goals in the future is to upgrade from 2wd to 4wd and a brushless motor after I get use to rcing.

Cool video of a Losi 5ive T 2.0, I was kind of thinking about one of these or a 30 Degree North Clone but i like the look of the real Losi one and i was thinking about running it gas for awhile then converting it to electric if i got the official one or if i got the clone i would buy a roller and convert to electric from the start. I'm not sure which way i want to go but it will be years before i do it.
