Suprising I Used more drag than that when catching my Giant Bluefin Tuna off westcoast south island NZ and that was stand up hehe. Think the Tiagra 80 wide was 30kg full and about 7kg at freespool....so in other words no freespool. Using 150m of 200lb topshot over Dacron backing.

I gotta ask, why do you let them go after that brutal time getting them to the boat??
@mitchellwebb68982 жыл бұрын
They are quite Hardy fish surprisingly most of them swim off and are caught the following year.

Ending seemed odd when the fish got to the boat and then suddenly was gone. Not tagged either??? Angler never got out of the chair to look at his fish of a lifetime before releasing.

Oh boy! I enjoyed this video until the end when you acknowledged the team and referred to god sitting above but was referring to the boat operator. I hope you thanked God for your success? All praise and glory is His. I was reminded of a biblical story. See Daniel.

Your god doesn't exist, because despite trillions of prayers he steadfastly REFUSES to give is the final cure for Covid. A terrible god.

This guy has some discusting fishing habbits like useing soft plastic lures weighted with lead i find these leaded hooks in the stomachs of barra and throw them away as i dont want to get lead poisoning. I check all fish stomachs for these soft plastic leaded hooks before i keep them. I bet the fish in the shops have not be checked for these soft plastic leaded hooks in their stomachs i had to stop eating shop bought for this reason .Also catch and release is just feeding sharks as they wait for these returned fish. Grow up just catch what you need and eat what you catch stop destroying fish for sport. We need smarter people doing these tv shows.
