As a previous scare actor and now owner of my own attraction I always found it best to work your character around which room you were placed in. I get that this is a home haunt and the set designs were awesome but the actors do need a bit of guidance towards there rolls. Awesome job all in all.

Agree. As a former home haunt owner. Our actors were dressed for their assigned rooms. This was fun to watch. It's a great start.

"Get out" "get out" "get out" top notch acting in there 🙄. For a house that's from a dude who's been in the industry for a while, Tisk, tisk mind aswell have them saying "boo". For set design that's promising, it all crumbles with the acting.

Every year I was told the same set of rules: Say these things and you're fired - "Boo" "Get Out" and "Brains". Those were big big big no no's.

i totally sad the same thing.. i was like dude the set design and theming good.. but when you have the 3rd scare actor and every one else saying.. GET out GET out. it GETS ANNOYING!!!! like for real... this could be promising if they worked on it...

Definitely not the best dialogue but the layout of the haunt pushing you back into a hall you were just in only to have that area now “transformed” was very cool to experience, especially in a home haunt.

honestly, if I heard someone yell "HELLO!" like that, I would probably yell "HELLO TO YOU TOO!" out of sheer confusion and terror.

jeesus christ, as a scare actor myself, I can say that the house was awesome but the acting was off. They should really take some time to train them. It's always best to give them a line instead of just letting them be free and say the line that no-one wants to hear in a haunt, "Get out" or "BOO" or "LEAVE" Sometimes actors are best without a line and just have a prop to make a loud sound, for example, a fake gun, an airhorn or even a bicycle horn

Great Sets, but the acting was incredibly new. Try to refrain from saying "rawr", "get out", or "hello". The acting almost made us forget how wonderfully crafted the sets were. But actors make a difference as well!!!!

Great job with the set design that part was a+ but the actors could be better and really sell the scene. Good job over all tho keep it up I have a super small haunt I will be posting soon just been to busy with work to edit.

Ok, 2:09 is breaking my brain. I know the actor is doing a push but how is the videographer turning around and going down a different hallway?

There's a false wall thats repositioned opening up the rest of the hallway after you turn around.

I feel like only yelling get out at the beginning is off putting. I wish they wouldn’t have done that until the end! If the girl with the moving door just laughed creepily while moving forward or there was more smoke I would’ve really enjoyed this! Also missed opportunity with the chainsaw in my opinion at the end is where you need it most then it’s like ok I’ll leave and run them out!

we actually had a chainsaw at the end but it had a leak with the gas so we got rid of it. sucks. hopefully we will get a better one this year

I have seen better acting from other scare actors at other haunts (home and otherwise). That includes from myself and my fellow scare actors at the haunted house I work at (small professional haunted house, not a home haunt)

Amazing haunt! Hate the "get out" being shouted - not scary nor entertaining - could think of something better. (Also in an emergency could be counter productive)

Do you do a gold coin donation (I'm not sure what the usa equivalent is) where people drop $1-$2 for entry? Because you should! I usually only get enough to cover my obscene power bill after the haunt, hehe, but it helps. This is amazing 😊 Absolutely wonderful job.

Great set design! The actors aren't that great. It's super boring that they're just shooting get out. Honestly would've rather had animatronics than these boring actors who don't know how to do anything but say two words.
