Never used scissors, reverse tease with shower comb. Maybe run the shower comb through hair daily to prevent the snarls? I did cut off the beard though. Pretty girls do not have beards in my opinion!!! Also the lake is okay for swimming? I would look for what hurt her and remove it. Mine loved to do that too much to deprive her. Have fun, okay?
