The throne design is very interesting.....almost Aztecan. The bluish color of the skull armrests is a bit odd. Very nice piece!

Dang the present this statue has is so commanding 😃 the overall concept is fitting for the master hunter & paint is excellent it feels so fitting for a predator but also unique. I think this could easily be the only predator statue in a person's collection and totally rule🤘 A total #1 excellent statue👌 Badass!🙌

Oh yeah that Predator sure does portrays monarchy. That is one fantastic interpretation of what a Predator Hierarchy could look like if he sat on a throne. One thing for sure is that they do have ranks within their organization. Whomever made this sculpt definitely was inspired by some Aztec style work on his armor, along with some advanced technological advances. Love that even as advanced as their species are, they still are very primitive in culture. This is one bad ass Mo Fo. In order to be considered royalty. That is a fantastic piece, congratulations on getting him Mr. X.

XM learned their lesson with the last predator. They were smart with this one. Barely any patterning on his skin and both portraits are masked, so nowhere they can really mess up the paint. Sculpt is amazing ill definitely be getting this one

Very detailed review of this amazing looking statue. I ordered this a couple of weeks ago and now I'm really looking forward to receiving it. I was disappointed about the lack of an unmasked portrait on this as well but there's other options for an unmasked predator.

Wow amazing Predator Statue, I really like the gold and silver throne, with the highlights going though it, really make the throne look like it's from the future. The actual Predator itself looks imposing on his throne, which is exactly the feeling you want to get when looking at a Predator. The pose reminds me a lot of Shao Kahn from Mortal Kombat, which that is a good thing. Excellent Predator statue, my favorite one, easily.

Ordered this statue when it was released. The paint in the prototype looks better “darker” than this finished version. Also the prototype hand with the skull has the wrist blades. No blades is disappointing. Looking forward to seeing it in person but from your review I think it is a miss on the paint. Hopefully it is the lighting. Think XM should offer everyone who bought this an unmasked portrait. For the money the blades should be real metal.

This is a very cool piece and would totally fit in a large Predator collection. If you only had the room or budget for one, I doubt this Samurai/Aztec one would be the ideal choice.

Phenomenal Piece. Far better than the promo pictures. I really wish Prime 1 gave their Sengoku Predator the same Mask as that one you have. You know its a Predator, but has more elegant designs to it. I'm actually on the opposite end of the spectrum. The extreme majority of the time, I prefer the predator with his mask on. The only exceptions where I'd use the unmasked is the Sengoku Predator (The DX Version), your custom predator on throne, but with this one one you got from XM? I actually like both portraits nearly equally. I'd probably alternate them daily. The only thing stopping me from getting Sengoku is its ridiculously tall base. Damn thing is 1/4 but 36 inches high.

I brought the wolf predator bust which has from below the shoulders up and after it arrived realized that it didn't have a cannon either! Which was annoying considering it has 2 one each side ! So it's not the only one that don't come with a cannon as you put it lol

Really impressive. The cape kinda throws me off because I also can’t tell if it’s supposed to be two different shades of red. But other than that, yeah, it looks like a masterpiece that is very unique. XM really outdid themselves.

Some of the design makes me think of futuristic samurai style, the statue looks great and the throne motif is a classic. In the UK toilets are nicknamed thrones and unfortunately it is the only throne i have in my house. (No throne statues 🥲).

It looks great, but how many characters really deserve to be “on throne”? Predators need to be in an action poses, hunting something IMO. Thanos, Doom, Magneto, and Apocalypse to me are the only ones worthy of having Throne Statues made of them. But that’s just my opinion. 🤷🏽‍♂️
