asia does zoos the right way, here in the US they're just in tiny confined enclosures that looks bored and unhappy, these pandas looks and acts like they want to wake up every day

Nooo... most zoos in Asia are far worse than the ones in America.... American zoos are like a paradise for the animals, compared to most zoos throughout Asia, especially zoos in countries like India, Thailand, etc.... Moreover, China is one of the richest countries in Asia, so its zoos tend to be nicer than other Asian countries.... China is one of the worlds major economic powers.... It is front and center on the world stage.... It is a trade partner with many Western nations and is a member of the UN, etc.... That means it has a lot of pressure to do things the way the West demands, even if it is different from traditional Chinese culture.... For this reason, China is also one of the major global leaders in animal conservation.... China has gone to great lengths to increase the numbers of its Siberian tigers (Amur Tigers) found in the Northeast of China.... However, not only is the Giant Panda an endangered species, it is China's national animal and a symbol of the Chinese nation.... This is why the Chinese government has gone to great lengths to conserve the Giant Pandas in the wild.... I believe this is actually a breeding center for pandas, not an ordinary zoo.... You will see some pandas in Chinese zoos throughout China, but this one in Chengdu is actually a breeding center, where they work to increase the number of the local panda population and work to conserve the species.... I don't think any zoo in the world has this many pandas, or this many baby pandas.....

Pandas are neither bears nor cats. In ancient China, they were warriors. In the 1980s, some pandas also performed acrobatics. Pandas are not fragile, but have poor fertility. I'm glad this animal is the only one in the world hahaha😂

I hope Chengdu no longer lend pandas to zoos in other cities in China. The zookeepers in Shanghai smoked while working and beat panda. Two pandas died in Jan this year. They were not treated properly when they were badly illed. Panda sent to Zhengzhou city also died because of careless treatment and lack of proper environment maintenance。
