Schnauzers are NOT easily trainable due to their stubborn nature! Yet, they are the best breed I've ever had.

That is a picture of a Mini Schnauzer, a totally different breed. It also is not known for the ailments that Mini Schnauzers have. Basically those are Mini Schnauzer issues. Dermatitis? Kidney Stones? Do research. However, you left out an issue we now have a DNA test for and it's not prevalent anymore, but Dilated Cardiomyopathy. There are sparse cases of conditions, but I believe those are few and far between. Again, not a Mini.

There are no hypoallergenic dogs. A dog has between 1-6 proteins that can cause allergic reactions. Four of the proteins are in the dogs blood, and goes out to the dogs skin and "dandruff". One of the proteins is in the dogs saliva, and one is in the urine of "male dogs" that are not neutered. It's not the hair that fall on the floor that cause allergies. It's the dog itself! An allergic person can be allergic to one of the proteins, all six, or something in between. A dog can have anything between one and six of the proteins. It has nothing to do with the dog breed. A giant schnauzer can have six allergen, a collie or a german shepard only one, or vice versa. A chinese crest can have most of the allergenes and a huskey only one, and so on... The puppies from the same litter, all have different, individual "set-ups" of allergenes. An allergic person can tolerate one german shepard, but be allergic to another shepard from the same litter... It's sad, but true! In Sweden there are tests, one that test the dogs allergenes, and one that test what allergenes a person react to. There may even be a vaccin avaliable soon, to dog, cat and horse allergies! 😊

Absolutely not! If you are interested in one of the two breeds it is better you look for information elsewhere 😉

Well Giant Schnauzers aren't pure bred Schnauzers, as other breeds were introduced to boost their size, so there is no surprise they behave differently...
@fantasy4261 Жыл бұрын
They literally are pure bred though.
@Keyser_Soze7399 ай бұрын
According to your theory there isn’t a single breed that is pure bred. Please stop spreading nonsense. Thank you.

I’ve seen a lot of bad videos about Schnauzers, but this one is, with ease, one of the worst.

Vid isn't accurate standards are the original and way to go. Giants suffer from more medical ailments bc they've not pure bred!

Giant Schnauzers are a recognized pure breed and have been around for hundreds of years.
@yurapishwall6212 жыл бұрын
@@joekaz5198 true they've been around a long time but according to wiki The origins of the breed are unclear, but sources speculate it originated through some combination of black Great Danes,[1] German Shepherds,[1] Rottweilers,[1] Dobermanns,[1] Boxers,[1] Bouvier des Flandres,[1] Thuringian Shepherds,[2] and the Standard Schnauzer.[2
