Giant SHIP almost ran us over while Swordfishing! Catch Clean Cook

In this episode I cover our 3 day October swordfish camp. We had a group of 6 guys on board and everyone rigged baits and worked on their swordfishing skills. Day 1 went smooth, Day 2 proved to be a little tricky, and Day 3 had a scare when out of the rain storm a giant ship was barreling down on us. I didn't get the camera out right away as we were moving offshore to be out of harms way, but when I turn the camera on you can see how close the ship was! Back at the marina we cook up some fresh swordfish at Saylor Ashton's sunrise grill! Enjoy!

What a beautiful day for fishing. Sad to see a refugee boat filled with people hoping for a better way of life. Probably will be sent back. Then you come close to a shipping container freighter. Sure was very close. When you're filming it seems like your boat is staying pretty calm. Not sure if it's really calm though? Wonder if any of the guests ever get seasick? I was on a drift fishing boat off of Ft. Lauderdale years ago. At night. Wasn't any fun. Won't do it again. But it does look like a lot of fun! Best Wishes, Nick and family!

@StanzFam
@StanzFam 2 жыл бұрын
Old son, ol’ son, and Ole Son became a popular saying the past year. Just something by to make you laugh a little and bring a smile to your face. Almost as if Referring to someone or something as “the man” or “the one”. The big fish we want to catch is “ole Son”. It Gives a little bit of mystery, credit, and respect to the person or animal. We had a person on board make an epic harpoon shot last winter and I said “old son baby” without even thinking about it, so now that has kind of stuck. It’s in a video the second day we got 10 swords. Hope that helps explain it
