Thanks for setting the snake free. The snake was just trying to live his best snake life, when Bennet sounded the alarm. Lyssa had that look on her face that Mom's get right before they say, "Don't make me get the wooden spoon." That put fear in the hearts of my sister and me😮. Meanwhile, she never hit us with a wooden spoon. She never hit us at all. 😊 I miss her. It was a year on September 14th since she's gone to heaven. Blessings.

Jake, thank you for not killing the snake and freeing the snake out into the river, but please don't bring any snake into the house where baby Jr is. Accidents do happen, and snakes can get themselves freed up from your grasp unexpectedly. And you don't want a snake roaming around your house with baby Jr there.

Good catch Jake. However, it will most likely come back. We have tried to relocate snake's at our property and they always come back. I have a grandson (11) with autism and I no longer relocate them if they're around our house or out buildings. My daughter called me on the phone about 4 months ago sobbing, I told her I couldn't understand her. She said "Mom there's a huge snake in my room and I am trapped on my bed!" Momma bear kicked in. As I got inside by her door before I even stepped into her room I asked her where it is? It was at the head of her bed staring at her. Every time she tried to get to the foot of her bed it would follow her. I was able to catch it and get it outside and dispatched it. From what we could tell it had come through a whole in the wall in her closet that the contractor had made to put a tube through that we had to run from the hot water tank release valve so should it every leak her room wouldn't be flooded. We believe that it had been living under the house eating rodents a while. I spoke to our doctor and he said that even though it's not venomous that they do harbor bacteria in their mouth from eating rodents. If you were bitten you would most likely get an infection from the bite. At our house I cannot take any chances that a snake could bite my grandson that has autism. Those snake's have all kinds of places to be away from our house. Just the thought of my daughter going to sleep and the snake curling up in bed with her to stay warm scared me. It could have easily bitten her. Remember that snake's can strike half their body distance. Be safe. Much love from our family to your family 💞
