Bro! One of the best episodes. Love your date with the neighbors. The yellowfin looked incredible. Next time if you don’t have a sharp knive you can always throw the cooked fillet in the freezer for a few mins to firm up and it is easier to cut. You do lose the warm decadence but its still tasty

It’s 10x better cored and iced for 2 days. Warm tuna is terrible lol

Dang those mahi weren’t eager to commit! Glad to see you got Jen a few more fish checked off the bucket list 💪🏻

Awesome video, it's crazy that the mahi wouldn't eat. The only thing I can think of that may have worked is to chunk up one of the tunas and use it for bait and chum.

That’s exactly what I was thinking . If they cut a strip out a tuna and just it sink

Loving how frequent the uploads have been lately, I know it cant always be like that, but these last 2 weeks has been killer content. From Max and his dad, to Jennifer, heck I was happy to see your house coming along recently too. Have you already checked Alaska off your states trips (I guess I could search)? And any chance Max and/or his dad may end up on a camping trip next time?!

Another amazing video! You should keep a fly rod on board… Trust me when I tell you a three foot Mahi on the fly was a fight I’ll never forget! 😁

When the mahi chase to the boat try a figure 8 in the water beside the boat it works great when the fish are this aggressive

The Mahi tend to hold onto a rubber swimbait better than hardbaits NLBN no live bait necessary make a 5 inch that's perfect

I saw Landshark using those. Gotta try em sometime

@YakFishField Yeah Zman stuff is awesome as well man and it's super pliable!! I've lost 100 big Bulls on hardbaits or circle hooks neither are in my spread when chasing them offshore

It always makes me wonder what people are thinking in moments like that, the big ones are hungry and looking to eat just about anything, but you cant get them to strike during the cast and retrieve!!!! Remember that the entire idea of the "lure" is that you are trying, to the best of your ability, to make it look as much like the "food" Mahi eat as possible!!!! In that situation I'm gonna just drop it a foot below the boat and leave it! The predator fish know that the little ones they eat are constantly finding refuge and shade by hanging out below your boat!!!! Dunk your head and look I bet there is 20 little fish mirroring the boatfor protection! The big ones just find the boats and suck em in, one by one. Have you ever tried that? Just imitating the ones hiding under your boat?
