I’ve gone to wilderness yearly since I was a little kid and one thing I’ve always wondered is why they’re so keen on blacking out 90% of their indoor water slides. They could really use some color.

I agree, but I get why they do it to some of them. For example, the black hole and the wooly mammoth. They black those out to make the experience more fun, for the black hole, they want to make it seem like a black hole, for the wooly mammoth, they want you to not know when the next wide turn happens, they want to surprise you. For the other one’s that have nothing like this, I have no idea.

They re-did their Wild West. I think they have more fun slides. They kept the black hole and the Fantastic Voyage. I think the old playset was more fun

I have been on the HURRICANE!! ( the indoor one ) I went here last week!! It was SOOOO MUCH FUN!!😊 I think we might come back here in the summer for the outside water park! Loved it!😊

For a while, this was the only resort I would go to while I was in town because of how big it was and how much they had to offer besides the awesome slides, and even though I have ventured in trying all the other nearby resorts every now and then, this is still my favorite of them all in Wisconsin Dells. My favorite of the outdoor waterparks is the Lost World with my favorite slide outside being Hailey's Comet Racers. The Wild West Waterpark is my favorite of the indoor locations while my favorite indoor slide was the Hurricane over at New Frontier.

I live 10 minutes away from Wisconsin dells and I go to the water parks just to walk around. At the wilderness they have this giant indoor multi level play area with tons of slides and even though we never stayed there we would go there every couple weeks as kids just to have fun. They never said anything about us not having wristbands

Adventures By Alex Agreed. I'am not saying at all that the additions of the Lost World Outdoor Go-Karts and Mini Golf were a bad addition but I really do think that space would've been perfect for a waterpark expansion which could've included a water coaster.

I am going there on the weekend and watching this video brought back so many memories. I never went to the wilderness and I am hoping to have a lot of fun there. This video helped me plan the best weekend in 2020 and 2021 for me. I lost one of my family members to COVID and I have never got to meet them. Ok so I went on hurricane.... let me explain it...... So you go down slow all of sudden... 45 DEGREE DROP IN TO THE THINGY me and my step mom almost fell off the tube. But for me actually I almost flew off the tube my dad was fine tho. It was scary the tube almost flipped over and we almost touched the top of the thingy... but yea all the other slides were super fun

Mitchell Ries I think they don’t allow single tubes because of how much weight it’s needs for the speed, because it is much faster than most rides. I’m not sure, but that is what I think.

I go there every summer, one time I went In the Winter and they have an indoor/outdoor hot tub, so the tub starts indoors and feeds into a fenced in area outdoors. So I went to the outdoor part when it was like 20 degrees out and it was so nice, the lower half of my body was being kept warm because of the hot water and the upper half of my body was being kept warm because of the steam coming off of the tub, I recommend you try it.

who else misses this place in quarantine? I remember one day on the last day of my 1 week stay last year, I went to the Go carts outside which are the REALLY fast ones, and someone swerved 90 degrees of a corner because they went too fast, and I hit them right in the middle of their cart. Damn I miss this place, it's so amazing and brings so many memories. Every time that i go to wisconson, I go here, and I've probably been to Wisconson for a 1 week vacation about 13 times.

My family and I go to this hotel every year, and my favorite ride is the Hurricane. It used to be the black hole, but they reduced the amount of times you go around Edit: Sometimes they have rainbow lights in the hurricane

On the ride at 9:43, me and my dad were riding it, and I think we went a little too fast. At the last curve at the end, we went so far up it, that we flipped upside down, just barely making it into the pool and just barely missing cracking our skulls open on the concrete. It was a pretty fun ride.
