The thing is….99% of Australians live around the coast line and there are 100s of surf beaches . These machines would only be useful in places where there is no beach within a reasonable distance. Examples…mining towns and other places with residents that are further inland. But you have to have the lake?? Water is a scarce commodity so getting it there would be a challenge, especially as they cannot get enough for consumption by animal and humans. Also, there would be a lot of resistance from communities to having the ecology of normal naturally occurring lakes being ruined. A fly by night invention that will not catch on. The surfing community world wide is not large enough to warrant it.
