Holy smokes what even is Death Stranding 2? WHO AND WHAT is that puppet? We also got a good look at Rise of Ronin, Stellar Blade, and a whole slew of other games headed to the PS5.

Same. It was like the game was made for me. I rarely have fun with games anymore as I get older because I've played so many that they never excite me now, but I actually enjoyed that one.

I loved the hell out of Death Stranding and the sequel looks fucking incredible, everyone like "duh bluh bluh kojima fell off" are really, truly, genuinely idiots. In the immortal words of George Wood, "I know that's insulting, but it's also the truth."

The V Rising devs made the competitive arena game, Battlerite. It was intense but too niche. This will be a good one!

the first game wasn't all bullshit, they literally explain everything. There's a couple of gimmes, like "chiralium impacts time", but it's all consistent and explained, saying "the first game was all bullshit" just kind of indicates that you have poor taste and don't listen when people talk. It makes it sound like you played two hours and made a snap judgement that it's dumb, which says a lot more about your understanding of narrative and a lacking of respect for the art of game design.

Agree with everything said here, 1000% 🙄💯 The game has had 16 Million users, and is now getting a sequel AND a movie made of it too... but people still talk sh*t as if the game hasn't been hugely popular & well loved by many. Not saying that it HAS to be for everyone, but when people say that it's "just bullsh*t" or talk about it like it's trash... that tells me that they went into the experience with their minds already made up, and never really gave the game a fair chance anyway. So why should people care about or trust their opinions on gaming, when they take attitudes like that about certain properties? Again, it's perfectly fine to say that a game just isn't for you... but that's NOT the same thing as saying that it's just "bullsh*t". TBH, everybody has just been so dumbed down from looter shooters, & senseless violence in all of their gaming, that rarely do people have the attention spans or willingness to even TRY gaming experiences that are different or unique.

46:33 - You guys can laugh, but Kojima just announced in his most recent special, that over 16 MILLION users have played the 1st game, in one form or another, whether they bought the disc, or got it off Steam or the Playstation store, or played the OG version or the Director's Cut, etc... and so its been highly successful, and way more popular than a lot of its haters ever gave it credit for. 😌 Its WHY Sony is paying for a sequel... and helping to fund a MOVIE set in the universe too. (Through A24 studios, btw) So the franchise is nothing to f*ck with. Just sayin! lol

59:44 - Joker makeup? 🤦🏻‍♀️🙄 He's clearly modeled after "The Crow". I get that theres white face paint involved... but otherwise, the character models have literally nothing in common. Not in appearance OR in personality. I get that Troy voiced The Joker before, but I really wish folks would stop & spend at least 2 seconds thinking more critically, when it comes to Death Stranding. Everybody's got their "opinions" about the damn game, but only half them are actually paying attention ffs.

The ignorant boy at 35:25 who said "Game got greenlit because of Ghost". Ronin was already in the works like pre stage development during the development of Nioh 1. The devs also said that Nioh was a Prototype for Ronin. They didn't make it since they purposely waited for the Ps5 hardware to start working on it! Which Ghost was inspired by Nioh in multiple ways in the first place. Without Nioh Ghost wouldn't have it's stances & other things.😬 Wondering how the combat would look without those!

Well, no 'Little Devil Inside', again. So, that game might be dead since its Sony-related promotions initially rolled out around the same time as Stray. After investing 185 hours into Death Stranding 1, I'm looking forward to that. Sony Bend & Housemarque are 2 Sony studios I'm excited to see what's next for, eventually.

Im happy to explain if you have questions. You need to pay attention to the story and remember that the game is a supernatural science fiction game. The events will make more sense then.

I highly recommend you grab the Director's Cut, and do a serious, deep dive into it! 👊🏽😏 Like, really take your time with it man. Don't rush anything. Go slow, and take it all in. Find all the "hidden preppers", build all the roads, read all the emails, do all of the extra missions that were added in, etc. When people spend a decent amount of time in the game & really give it a fair chance... they generally end up loving it, tbh. Pretty much every time. lol But if you don't feel like doing another playthrough, I would recommend at least watching a lore breakdown video right before the sequel game launches, so that the story will be fresh in your mind, at least.
