Hi ! You can get an adapter for your stove instead of having two of them. At least that's what we have to adapt our MSR stove onto the blue gas bottles.

I just didn't know how to mount stuff to the forks as I don't have any holes for screws and this belt thing was my solution. Nowadays i am using fork cages which made things much more easier:)

Hello again... definitely on a bike trip even more so if we go alone; we need some music. My speaker broken and at the moment I'm without it and I miss it a lot. I sure liked your DIY setup with the belt, unusual! Good winds always on your way... Adios and até logo! 🌍⛺🚲🙏💪

My setup is opposite. I pack fairly front heavy. I have the huge Surly front rack and put my Ortlieb bags there, and keep the saddle pack behind. In my frame I keep a regular 2 liter plastic bottle strapped to a blackburn outpost cage and a regular alu bike cage with bottle of 1 liter. I cycle in sweden and 3 liters is just enough for the kind of distance I do.
@giantcheerio2 жыл бұрын
Sounds interesting! I will change my set up soonsih and try to put more weight on the front wheel

Love your vids. I just got my new gravel bike, an Alpkit Sonder Camino Titanium. Got some ortleib panniers already but will be buying a few other bags and hopefully get out on trips when weather improves. Ps just be careful with those bungee straps keeping your ukulele strapped on... I know someone who lost an eye when one flicked back at them.... So keep them away from your eyes when stretching them or taking them off pleeease 🙏 (sorry to state the bleedin obvious) .

8mths travelling about in the sunshine - I am a little jealous..not disimilar to my own rig, though you travel lighter. Ortlieb really are the benchmark for panniers, I love mine! To my mind sponsorship is the death nell of a channel as it comes between maker and audience - but then what would I know ;-)
@giantcheerio2 жыл бұрын
I'd say it depends on the sponsorship. Why not getting sponsored by a brand I really like and trust? And plus: bikepacking is not for free and at one point I need to create an income method to keep on going. I need to pay hostels and cafés for editing videos and I need food and water to keep me going. ;)

I used to ride simmelar setup, but especially on ruff gravel with an incline i hated the weight distribution, the rear was just too heavy.

Another ace video! Suggestion.....would it be good to invest in a pair of SPD pedals and shoes? You can also use the shoes off the bike and clips give you a helping hand whilst peddling up hill 🤣🤣
