In honor of John Madden and Dan Reeves passing away recently, here is a FOX game in Arrowhead with Madden on the mic and Reeves on the sidelines.

The fact they are dead now is just unreal.

Quite a fitting game to the Giants' '95 season. Both Dave Brown and Chris Calloway had their best games of the season yet done in a losing effort.

Great tribute. When Madden died I wondered if you were going to upload something. Surprised you did something with him and Reeves.

I thought with these two in a game together, perfect opportunity for a game to be posted.

Such a frustrating, killer loss this sure was for the Giants in so many ways. They of whom looked like they were going to bounce back with a vengeance from the embarrassing 35-0 beatdown they suffered at the hands of the Cowboys in their season opener, only to give the game away at the end with numerous baffling, stupid mistakes, and penalties made after one another. It's like they (like many teams in general seem to late in close games) suddenly forgot how to play defense when they let the Chiefs march down to the field, and into the endzone not once, but twice, than later for an easy chip shot field goal in OT. It was kind of like a prelude to the fairly exciting, but also highly turbulent Jim Fassel years (and even during the Coughlin ones outside of the Super Bowl winning seasons) when they had so many unbelievable late game collapses as time went on. This excruciating defeat you could tell really crushed their spirits, and set the tone for that lackluster 95 season, which they had fairly high expectations going into, but pretty much ended before it got cold outside. I for one took this loss far more hard than the opening game, and was the beginning of the end of the initial promising start of the overall blah Dan Reeves era too.

This was a horrendous Sunday for the NY-NJ teams, both losing big leads and in OT.

Oh yeah. I for one (as a Giants fan) took this loss a hell of a lot worse than the opening night 35-0 beatdown at the hands of the Cowboys for certain too! This was when you officially knew the fairly high expectations the Giants had going into 95 were nothing more than a mirage, with what a spirit crushing loss this sure was for them! That season I (and many of their fans were really looking forward to) ended before it got cold outside pretty much also! (L.O.L.!)

Flashback to when I was 10. Only cared about Dallas then and green bay

You could tell Pat was getting old when he WONDERED if there was ever an OT won because of a safety. When in FACT it was him and John called the only NFL OT game won by a safety in 1989....a 23-21 Vikings win over the Rams.

I don't think the Chiefs ever lost a game that Summerall and Madden announced.

I don't think so either.

What a bonehead coach Dan Reeves could be at times.
