The RB I am interested in seeing play is Dante "Turbo" Miller he is very similar in size and traits as Devon Achane I think Turbo can do a lot of the same things as Achane did for Miami last year just getting him the ball in space where he can use that sub 4.3 speed to race downfield will be fun I don't think he is an every down back he is that change of pace guy that you have a package of plays for going into a game but I am interested to see what he can do

Guys just so you know, if you watch video of the interception, it was on a fourth and long, so a sack or a dump off doesn’t help, Jones took a shot downfield with 50-50 ball to Nabers

Love this. We just need to keep Neil on the sideline - teach him guard over the next year and next year he can get his chance but as far as I’m concerned the line looks so much better without him.

Btw, I like your take a few videos ago regarding not getting a veteran cornerback now which will take reps away from our contract control young corners. I suspect Gilmor isn’t going to be signed buy anyone until team talent evaluators reassess after the 2nd preseason game

Gilmore is on the wrong side of his prime. Someone will sign him but I do not think it is a mistake that nobody has.

I don't know if Gilmore that much better than McCloud? PFF has them both at 74. Gilmore wants big money and to go to contender. There should have been at least 2 udfa outside CBs signed.

I'm not sure I'm so down on our secondary. Yes, it's strange we have too many safeties that deserve reps and so many corners, none of which have locked down the CB 2 spot, but this is camp and if we had to scheme for Nabers, we aren't going to just man him up with no safety help, it's camp. Because of that we all get to see the 1 on 1s, but that's not really a true indicator of what the scheme will be, say week 1 vs JJ.

It's 1 thing to have several guys who can play a position battle it out. But the Giants only have McCloud who is somewhat competent at CB2. If Flott doesn't significantly improve in the next 3 weeks McCloud will have to start CB2 and there will be nobody to back up at outside CB.

@@Thagomizer-U235 they got Phillips, Herndon, Darnay and afew others in camp. The draft pick canslide outside, they'd welcome that even though they took him to play inside, they even got Simmons playing slot. Flott despite his stature is above average tackler, in this zone heavy scheme, won't be terrible. If the offense can score some points, this defense could be excellent playing from ahead.

I’ve been saying sign Connor Williams for 3 months now. The Giants had a terrible line with no depth last year and they improved a little but still have no depth. Forget signing a corner or D-tackle we NEED offensive line depth.

JMS needs those Reps! But hey I am not gonna say "it" but let's knock on some wood too! I felt like he looked better than his rating last year and bit of an unfair shake thanks to the situation. Only a week, barely enough time to heal from a light sprain. Not worried yet. Another 2 practices out I might be. As I said on another post I am curious what coverage Nabers is getting in practice. I remember OBJs FIRST game. The defense immediately backed off went into high man safety on him and the guy hadn't played a regular season snap. I think Nabers is the same thing. And having someone like this to practice against is going to make them way better as you guys said. Lastly I am going to say this AGAIN. its time to trade Neal if we can, and sign another depth piece. Maybe sign 2 more OL if Ezudu went down. time to move on from the Injury prone guys. Maybe Neal would be better on a team that can afford a developmental piece. I do not even trust him to be a backup. Not a a lot to choose from in FA I know, but what if we could get a 3rd rounder for Neal? is that remotely possible? Hes worth nothing injured on the bench.

The best u would get for Neal is a conditional 6th. He was hurt and played thru pain rookie yr and last yr. Bricillo is one of the developmental coaches. I think Bricillo will fix his footwork and he will be fine. I don't think he's another Flowers.
