From an Astros fan, Sincere condolences to the Giants, their fans, and to the family of Willie Mays. A true 5-tool player, undoubtedly one of the greatest baseball players to ever play, and a great example to all Americans. May he rest in peace. “They invented the All-Star Game for Willie Mays.” -Ted Williams.

I'm really disappointed in the Cubs. It's like they didn't even TRY to blow the game in the final inning tonight. Instead they struck out the side? smh... These are not the Cubs I grew up with.

@jayfelsberg19316 ай бұрын
The Hector Saga began in Philly with his historic meltdown against the Dodgers. Despite decent numbers on paper Philly made no serious effort to retain him. The Astros wisely used him in middle innings. I shudder every time he takes the mound. He does not have anywhere near the emotional makeup to be a closer.

@rimemariner What has he done lately? I just said he has a 1.14 era over his last 5 starts. What more do you want, a 0.00 era? A starting pitcher can't control run support or what the bullpen does with all of these blown saves the Cubs pen has. You can't judge a starting pitcher only on Wins which is what you're doing. What have you been watching MLB for 2-3 weeks of your life? You're absolutely clueless 👎 Don't bother replying, I won't read your nonsense. You need to educate yourself on baseball.
