This is great, this is like a therapy session for me. You speak to all the issues driving me crazy about this Giants team! All these crap games with woeful offensive game plans/execution. The Daniels getting airlifted comment is hilarious. Jones takes sacs for no dam reason at times, he chooses not to throw the ball away or throw to someone in front of his face, he is locked on his first read and it’s killing me….ahhhhh. This team will be 2nd to last behind the Panthers in TDs scored at the end of the year.

Saw the NFL highlights earlier. It was quite a good game and actually one felt where unfortunately the better team lost. Some strong Monday nite play from the Pittsburgh offence at the Acrisure stadium no doubt.

Adrianna the livestream was fun. You covered all topics here but will just respond on three of them. First benching of banks. I agree that the punishment hurt the team and contributed to the loss. You need to punish banks but do it off the field. Next on Nabers. I am disappointed with his lack of awareness at times. An example was the long ball down the sidelines. He was so concerned about getting separation that he actually reached back to push off which resulted in his inability to then catch up the the ball. The pass was perfect if he just kept running at full speed. Finally the two point conversion. In that situation we needed to kick the extra point. Getting two still meant we needed a TD. It was more risk than reward there.

I don’t agree that Jones is mobile. Not any more. The quickness is gone. He can run once he finds himself open but he isn’t fast enough to break free. He looks lumbering and slow.

Yeah it's definitely hard to judge - I saw Burns say that guys in the locker room need to grow up so yikes. Wonder if he was talking about what happened on the sidelines last night. Mike Tomlin is so incredible. What he does year in and year out for that Steelers team is amazing and needs to be studied.

such a frustrating game. another winnable game, and we just shoot ourselves in the foot over and over. such a shame. i feel like the daboll era could be full of winning and excitement but its just not working out.

At this point I do not care that much about the record. They were never going to make the playoffs anyhow even with Thomas. They could have pulled off an upset in this game, which would have been great. So I focus on how well they play, and as you mentioned I thought they played better than expected. There were 4 key plays and if any of them went in the Giants favor they would have had a decent chance to tie the game - the punt return, Nabers drop, the fumble, and the int. I think the punter out-kicked the coverage, but I don't know what you can do about that.

Know this and I’ll preface this by saying I’m a DJ fan! The giants did everything right for Eli, mostly, but they’ve done the opposite to mess this kid up! He needs to GTFO NY, reset as a backup somewhere else, and hopefully get an opportunity again down the road!! I’ll always support this kid, bc I do believe he can be a good QB in this league and you can win with him! Tired of the double standards with this kid!

Banks, he was likely missing assignments and not being where he was supposed to. Although we may not have seen him making an egregious mistake as fans, I'm sure everyone on defense knew he was screwing around. That was probably why they went nuts and benched him.

The defense is over rated. Every week there are more and more big plays. They are great, relative to the offense. But just average in most cases. And with Banks and Flott not available …. Highly vulnerable

That's why refs wear black: they are meant to hold the power of life or death within the ritual. The crowd are the gods watching a ritual combat between good and evil with the field representing the Universe. And I know that sounds wack. It's just the historical background of the sport. Objective fairness to us means nothing within the game. Injustice is just as much a part of the ritual as justice is. We're supposed to cry and moan about blind refs. The first iteration of football was crazy Belgians playing with the severed heads of their enemies, and the only rule was that you had to leave your battle ax off the field. So we've come a long way when you think about it. At least no one has to have their heads chopped off anymore.

The Jets and Giants are similar. Neither of their front offices know what the hell they are doing. They both work one piece at a time. They buy old reputations instead of ability. Like Rodgers. My under standing he going to be here for 4 more year. Neither is as bad as they ar playing. Both teams have serviceable QBs. Coaching becomes questionable ever game. Jets playing for a new QB, despite Rodger. Giants also playing for noodles putting Jones in play knowing the consequences. These teams each year these teams are in the bottom 5 of the league. What can you say?
