Ma certo che oggi arrivamo a Seoul! Lo dicono i segni del destino e ce lo siamo meritati. Dopo taver attraversato mezzo Giappone e tutta la Corea del Sud figuriamoci se molliamo adesso, carichi dell'entusiasmo di tagliare il traguardo arrivando con le bici nel cuore della capitale. Ma questo caos non può essere periferia: siamo già da decine di chilometri in città e il nostro centralissimo albergo sembra ancora lontano. Però ci siamo, manca qualche chilometro, ormai è fatta! Cos'è quest'euforia che si prova quando si arriva direttamente sulla soglia dell'hotel con i mezzi che ci hanno portato fin qui per mezza Asia? E' il senso di libertà che dà la bici e il piacere di arrivare con le proprie gambe ovunque nel mondo. Non sapevamo di potercela fare. E invece no: ci abbiamo creduto fin dall'inizio!
Of course we're arriving in Seoul today! The signs of destiny say that and we definitely deserve it. We have been riding though half of Japan and all over South Korea, so nothing can stop us now. We are so excited to cross the finish line and get to the heart of the capital with our bikes. But this chaos cannot be the suburbs: we have already been tens of kilometers in the city and our downtown hotel still seems far away. But here we are, it's just a few kilometers to go and it's done! We are thrilled to get directly on the doorstep of the hotel with the bikes that brought us here from half of Asia. Biking gives us a sense of freedom and the possibility to get anywhere in the world on your own two feet. We didn't know we could do it. No, that's not true: we knew we could do it from the beginning!
