I used to do whole surgeries on my friends- I would explain what I was going to do, like if I was going to give them stitches I would draw a gash then explain how the numbing shots might sting some. Sometimes we would also pretend to inject drugs into our arteries! The lens is made of glass, which has a hardness level 6 or 7. Graphite is a hardness level 2 or 3, so it is impossible for graphite to scratch the lens.
