@@GandalftheWise No, I was born in Gibraltar and my father emigrated to London until I was 7 years old when he got fed up with the cold weather and returned to Gib where I have lived until now, He spent his youth in London from 1941 to 1945 including the blitz.

Sound more like a film theme tune than a "proper" march.

Is there a strict line between the two? Some tunes which weren't written for film or television were used for that purpose, after all (e.g. Colonel Bogey March and Liberty Bell March).
