Gibson banjo fretboard repairs

Well, I decided to make the fretboard divot repairs. Those trenches were big enough to fit an entire British regiment into. I'll try a new unproven method that absolutely FAILS!

Another great video!!!!!!! Your assessment & explanation was spot on. This can be a very tricky job as you've explained, but your end results speak volumes!!!!!!! The color will continue to match better with time & playing the instrument. Anyone looking to do this kind of work, should watch this video & learn the right way to approach & complete this repair. That's a lot of tedious, exacting, time consuming work. Would it be comparable in cost to the client, with a fretboard replacement?
