I have an '06 Gibson es335 and an '06 Elitist Casino, and not only do they sound different - the Casino has a faster note attack and shorter sustain - but they feel VERY different to play. The Casino is much lighter in weight, and the fretboard joins the body at the 16th fret making it difficult to play above that level, whereas you can easily reach the top fret on the Gibson.

While those guitars look similar they could not be more different. A humbucker and P-90 are very different pickups. The ES-335 has a solid block under the bridge while the Casino is a true hollow body.

it's evident that tone of the amp is dialed in with reference to the 335 and not the casino. if you're trying to get darker jazzier tones with the casino, you definitely have to add more mids and bass to your tone. such would not be necessary for the 335 since humbuckers naturally have a warmer tone. that being said, this comparison is not as valid as it could have been if these things were taken into account.

Not different enough to justify the price spread, pickups notwithstanding. A lot of the actual live performance or recording is regulated at the board/amplification anyway, not necessarily at the pickup. I'd buy the Epiphone all day long.

Gibson recieves a lot of bash, i would prefer the ES 335, but Casino is also pretty good, i would also get one even if i had a preference over the 335. although tbh, my definitely main Hollow Boy Guitar i think it would be a Gibson ES 355, i have some love on that model

フロントが一番違いがわかる気がする。カジノはシングルピックアップな分、クリア側の音がよく出ている感じ。ミドルはそう違いがないように聞こえたけど、ジャラーンと鳴らしたときの音が３３５ならではの音だなと。リアはよくわからなかったです。

I don't know why you would compare these 2 guitars, they are completely different guitars, the ES335 is closer to a Les Paul than a Casino, just because they have the same looking body's, the construction is very different, Casino completely hollow, ES 335 has a block running through the guitar under the pickups.

@ low volume levels the casino will behave itself and not feedback. You start cranking the amp....two completely different beasts.
