awesome! Yeah it’s kind of the thing where you need to try one of the harnesses or cables first, then you’ll know. I’m a tone tweaker, I’m glad I took the chance. My go to cables now. I never thought a cable could sweeten up my tone this much but hey, I’ll take it. Haha ✌️

@@JasonHobbsGuitarist Yes, the harness he recently made for me improved my #1 custom shop Strat a lot. The choices he makes in parts and part values, and his attention to detail and soldering skills, add to that great communication. The best! I have had his coily cable for awhile now and use, I need to try a Wizard cable still.

I think I have videos of when I first got the guitar posted. Best thing probably in a case like this is to check out their testimonies on their instagram page. I started watching his live videos and asking questions. There’s a lot about this stuff that I wasn’t aware of. Once I received the cables I used the cables alone without the harness upgrade, I was instantly impressed at the extra goodness the cables gave up. Then when I replaced the harness, the guitar instantly became one of my #1 guitars I go to. I was quite impressed by that alone. I had no reason to even do this video other than I wanted to share my opinion of what I think of these cables and I’d like to tell others they are really missing out if they at least don’t even try a Wizard Whip… I’m not a “techy” type guy but however he builds these cables, it’s doing something great. Same with the harness, I told him what I hated about the Murphy lab and he immediately said, “ you will love what I’m going to do”. I was like , ok?! lol Sure as that, he was right. I took a gamble but boy I’m sure glad I did. Afterwards, I immediately messaged him and ordered and paid for a harness for my Washburn Nuno guitar and two more cables and a speaker 🔈 cable. I’ve bought expensive cables in the past but I never heard any difference in the tone. They were just “quality cables” I was told. But with the AmpTurco cable I heard a very pleasing difference. Shaved off that harsh high treble sizzle on my junior and smoothed out the tone with just using a CABLE?! lol Usually when I get excited about something or a product, I like to tell others. Man, I’ve spent thousand on this stuff, I know the pain. If I can help someone else from doing that, that’s a win for me. ✌️

Great tone, and great video demo! Had the same experience with MIT Ripcord time aligned cables and VIP pots. Vintage taper and, with 50’s wiring, no need for treble bleed cap. That Wizard amp is beyond great!

Thanks! With the guitars stock wiring, the treble was weird when you’d roll the volume off. Also, the tone knob was unusable, Unusable in an understatement. I love the treble bleed , now I can roll it to 1 and still keep the good treble the entire sweep. 👌 I’m using the Tone Master Pro here. This digital age stuff is really impressive nowadays. I figure it’s 90% there but the remaining 10% is always the most important and hard to replicate part of your tone. A lot quieter for recording though on a Sunday. lol ✌️
