Congratulations on your purchase. There are some Les Paul Studios that play and sound as well as a Standard, without the bling. I picked up a 2005 Gibson Les Paul Studio Faded T series about 7 years ago. It was like new. My Studio is my main go-to guitar. My Stratocaster always has tuning issues and stays in the case.

I had a wine red 95 studio was a fantastic guitar but had to sell it to finance a standard I thought I’d like but ended up selling miss that studio

that’s best choice you made epiphones are not the same in my opinion gibsons are best when it comes to humbucker guitar 🎸 i use to have satin les paul studio 20th anniversary one brought very good price there is a couple of videos on my channel playing it and gigging but my cars engine blew up at to get new car quick that guitar was one of the guitars which was worth the most trade price to sell quick i am gutted and miss it now.

@@KRAZEEIZATION nice your guitar playing definitely got better and better i can hear some Rory Gallagher influence in your playing style. He’s a big influence too in my playing, Jimi too, Stevie Ray Vaughan list goes on. Is your studio heavy or light , medium would you say.? Keep rocking it looks sounds great.

@@lostgroovemusic8494 It’s pretty light for a Gibson. Did you know, that Rory Gallagher bought his Strat in Crowleys music shop in Cork city? I knew Michael Crowley and used to visit his shop (not the actual shop Rory bought from as they moved premises in the 70s) since the 80s until it closed. His daughter has helped set up a go fund me to try keep the Strat in Ireland! She’s after opening another guitar shop now. Cheers man regarding the playing, guitar is hard and you really got to play every day and think about new things in order to make yourself progress. I question everything I play now. Try make it better and better! You need another Gibson!!!!
