He has his moments! Human weakness, excesses of moods, an intense inner vision of what he is trying to achieve. But if it is God's will, this film shall be made. Of course it will be much harder to persuade people that Resurrection of the Body MEANS just that. Our souls will be reunited with their physical bodies. Some will wonder if that is actually a good idea. Or whether there is enough ingredients in the world to facilitate the resurrection of all who put their faith in Jesus. Even though Jesus proved that limited materials is only a product of our limited human perception. God is not fettered by our rules. Also, the first disciples of Jesus were equally reluctant to take Him literally. It was only after He really did resurrect that they realised He HAD been telling them the Truth all along! After much prayer - and the mysterious events of Pentecost - suddenly the penny dropped! They had to tell EVERYBODY.

To be born again means to be baptized. Read Colossians 2:12-13 and John 3:4-8. Born again is also used in 1 peter 1:23 and defines this as being born of incorruptible seed. Compare this to Romans 6:3-6, which says that when we are raised up again through baptism, we are to walk as a new person. Baptism represents christs death burial and resurrection, in the same way the eucharist is the passion. Remember that when Jesus was baptized the Father announced that this was his son.

I've seen too many troll previews for this film to still believe it's happening. It sounded kind of tricky to begin with. Because the gospels don't go into great detail about what happened after the resurrection. We got the very important stuff in the first film. If this was an elaborate joke, it was in very bad taste.

I think he'd be better off doing Revelations. Start with Matt 24 and use Jimmy Jesus and the other Passion guys to do Matt 24 then shoot off into John on Patmus. The way things are going with prophesy at this point in time Revelations would be the one to tell. I can't imagine how Mel would tell the story but it would be good.
