I swear, the editing on these videos are so perfect. Even just the way the fire covers the screen while zoomed in on Chappers face as he looks at a different camera... and then holds for a fraction of a second longer than you'd expect. Just absolute editing comedy gold. Just the best.

I play a standard Firebird. I was actually surprised that you didn't point out the biggest difference between the standard and studio models, the standard is through neck and the studio is set neck. That is why the standard is thicker in the center, the wings are just glued on.

Actually Clapton can be found using a Firebird in the early days of Cream there's loads of pictures and info about it if you Google it. He used the original 1963-65 Reverse Firebird I with one mini humbucker on it around 1968 usually played for their live shows. He also used a 1958-58 Les Paul Custom and an 1964 GIBSON ES-335. His main was an SG at the time.

Love the look and feel of them, and I own a 2013 one, but the pickups are WAAAAAAY too high output. The bridge is like 16k! I play through a clean amp with fuzz and overdrive for any sort of gain and it's not very dynamic at all when stomping on a pedal for a solo. Pretty much stays the same volume the whole time. Probably going to get some Lollars and a Pre-Wired tone/volume upgrade.

Same complaint. High output ceramic magnet mini hum buckers. Nothing like the original Firebird pickups. Looks like the new owners (post Henry) have changed them back to original spec pickups.
